Zao Asian Cafe is one of the rare companies; I just have to post on my instagram @denymenot along with my Google Local Guides #xtbellphotography & personal facebook account. This place is so amazing; I have to share it with as many people as I can! Yesterday, I was reminded again that Salt Lake has so many delicious buisnesses out there, but I think this one has to be top of the list, bomb-diggity! 😄 #zaoasiancafe In all seriousness though, I always get the soup with chicken. However, I decided on the steak & I think I fell in love all over again. The steak is dry rubbed & seared to complete perfection. If you have ever heard "that meat is so tender, it melts in your mouth." But have never actually had the experience; this place is a must try. Not only for that, but each dish I have tried has been absolutely amazing- I could eat zao Asian cafe every day! They have rice & rice noodle bowls, tacos-mmm, & soups (kinda like pho, but better). So many other #unique & #flavorful options! The best part- you are not paying with "an arm & a leg" in order to experience their amazing food! Everyone I have ever introduced to this place including myself- wonder why this place isn't more known by people (at least the people "we" know.) There are locations in Utah county, & North of salt lake which includes one that just opened- a new location in bountiful, and many others all around the Salt lake valley! 5 stars hands down, it is that good..! ok, now I am getting hungry for more...mmm. I hope the foodies like myself will go try it out- just as I did. You won't be disappointed, I promise. Even the picky eaters. Just try it! It won't matter what it is; you will love it. I recommend either the soup with rice noodle with chicken or steak, or the tacos (with same meat choice) & they have tofu and vegetarian options.) 😋So yummy! Your mind will be blown when you taste what real Fresh food & ingredients taste like under $20 for two people. Kids meals under $5. 😮 let me know what you think... Very stingy with their serving size. We ordered 4 sets of tacos primarily with just rice noodles and meat. Previously when I would order tacos with just noodles and meat (nothing else) they would generously give noodles as well as meat. They used to give 3 meatballs in each taco or plenty chicken and steak HOWEVER this time it was like begging for the food you paid for. This time in each taco they put maybe 6 single noodles in each and only 2 meatballs. I had to ask them to add more chicken as well. When I asked them to please add more noodles we got the stink eye from the female making the tacos. The guy tried to upsell me on drinks and when paying I felt compelled to give them a tip as he looked over the credit card machine while I was entering a custom amount.

We live in Murray but will now visit the Sandy/Draper location as the Murray location does not give you what you pay for and they watch you enter your tip so you feel compelled to leave them something regardless of the...

First time! Here is an honest and useful review

I was greeted with a genuine smile and excellent customer service and advice from Fernanda, the manager. Great staff. I don’t say that often.

I got -tiger sauce (peanut bliss + loved the ginger) spicy red stuff (just the right amount of kick) -sesame teriyaki (smooth and subtle) -curry (mild potency, had a hint of lime)

I got the noodles (taste JUST like the wraps at P.F. Chang’s) A mix of steak and chicken Vegetables to suit me And most importantly, the sauce. I got 4 on the side to try and enjoyed sampling and mixing. This is where I fell in love.

The gentleman Gabriel who rang me up had a good atmosphere and gave me great recommendations on the drinks (cafe Rio style high quality drink bar)

It was a steal at $12. Very filling, just right. The quality and taste of P.F. Chang’s and ready much faster.
