This is a self serve buffet that is mediocre at best. Where do I begin!?! Let's start with the cold station shall we. You have three kinds of cereal, two choices of CANNED fruit, fresh grapefruit, fresh Mellon, jello, pudding, hard boiled eggs and shedded cheddar cheese. Self serve juice (the citrus peach is insanely great and highly recommend) Quite the choices indeed. Now for the hot station. You have biscuits that are not fully cooked (had a batter flavor and texture to them), what looked like country gravy, bacon, sausage, two choices of grits, bagels, microwaved eggo style waffles that are cold and rock hard, and three choices of lukewarm canned pie filling. Now to the grill station. I have nothing bad to say about this. You can get Belgian waffles, French toast or omelets made to order. This is the dinner style that I was looking for and this is the only station you need to stop at if eating here. Now as I was absorbing all this disappointment I saw many people coming in and out getting takeout coffee. Being that I am a coffee lover I figured this was a safe bet.....WRONG! I was brought a small carafe of a liquid that had a faint aroma of coffee. I poored a cup and felt that it was also lukewarm as everything else on the steam table. I took a sip of this was brown water and was able to detect a very slight and weak after taste of something reminiscent of coffee. Now my opinion is the people coming in either have no other option or never had decent coffee before. So if you are still looking to stay and try this establishment, I recommend the peach juice and the grill station. Do you self a favor and walk, run, swim, hitch hike, Uber or dive down the street to the IHop...
Read moreI went there because it was convenient but left a little disappointed. The Buffett was little small for the price. It had another section that looked like a continental breakfast you would find in a hotel...minus the waffle maker (probably so people might order it off the ala carte menu) The eggs were runny, bacon was burnt, potatoes and corn beef hash were bland, biscuits and gravy were good though...
Thd sweet tea was fermented...YUCK! I understand this is a breakfast only place but change out your tea DAILY!!!! That should've been common sense.
The owner was friendly but kind of the waitresses who I told about the sweet tea, slammed down my new drink on my table!!
Oh, and one of the other young waitresses was flirting with a guy for about 20 minutes before I left. Her eyes just got big with her smile and biting of her lip. I guess the customers didnt matter then.
The omelette station wasnt there anymore....sad....I heard it used to be there but it seems like profits mattered more then customers. All of the extras was on a ala carte menu
Overall, I've had much better. Was not worth the price and was very disappointing. Definitely doesn't tell me Sea Mist cares that much about...
Read morePlease don't waste you time or money here. The food is bland. The hostess was dry and didn't smile, explaining how the restaurant buffet works, since this was our 1st time. The place is dirty and unclean. From the buffet area the tables, floors and plates and that grill hasn't been cleaned properly in months. Only pork options on the bar. The grits didn't have any taste along with the shredded potatoes. You have to go up to the grill to place certain orders. In the corner of the grill was a bucket of dirty grease that says Grill Grease. So when she went to make my pancake and eggs… she reached the brush in that grease and I was done for. We left, didn't ask for a refund, because they were already rude and looking like they didn't like their job or appreciate customers. I don't recommend anyone to go here. Go to ihop, Friendly's or anywhere but here and $9.99 for a little breakfast buffet with very little options is...
