Inside the facility and outside it is cute and inviting. Upon entering it was not super busy and front was nice and we got to choose from booth or table which was nice. Esthetically it is very nice but the down fall came with our waitress amber who was not friendly at all which ok maybe bad day but hardly came to table, brought beignet to table almost burned our fingers touching them, they were super oily and tasted like oil which isnt her fault thats more kitchen cook. But vomit worthy we didnt eat them because they tasted like oil. My daughter’s waffle was burnt and for 14 bucks she couldnt enjoy it . The oj was not bad def fresh. My husbands breakfast wrap he said was good with fresh vegetables, but my banana foster was HORRID and worst iv ever had. Being pregnant and starving going in i did not even eat them. The carmel foster sauce was either can or bottled with either frozen bananas that were recooked or came in a jar of sauce. It was horrible def not fresh. Blueberry grill or eggs up grill is amazing if you want that but this place i am unsure how they got their reviews unless some just dont know good food and for 80 bucks id rather get good food through and through. This goo of a banana foster sauce was almost as if it came from a premade ordered bag off Amazon. I have a passion for cooking and love food but truly not worth calories or money to eat this. Garbage worthy. Found eyelash or some type of hair in our home Fries which these were good until this point for me. Clean and cute facility but not food worthy. Amber sadly was not the best waitress and was not impressed. Hardly seen her. My offer is go little farther to blueberry and get MUCH better food that is def not going to disappoint. We pride on living here 24 years and enjoy eating out but when it’s good food not trash. We try new places often but was very disappointed here, hoped for a place close to home to be regulars at but def...
Read moreSweet foods accompany the contemporary bee theme of this new local eatery. The atmosphere was certainly higher end than I anticipated given how far south in Myrtle it is, which made for a lovely albeit surprising dining experience price and quality wise. It was a quick decision to swerve in and eat at the new place in my neighborhood so I did not do my usual due diligence of googling the menu and website online in advance. The service was a little slow because the server was having a lot of conversation at the next table (maybe with friends) and forgot my requests for to-go syrup a few times upon paying the bill but her energy and kindness made up for my anticipatory 10 minute wait to leave. You can probably get away paying 15-25 per person here and it wasn’t entirely unjustified given the atmosphere and portions but I enjoyed my Monte Christo far more than my husband enjoyed his traditional breakfast for the cost. Overall, I would definitely come back if I wanted a sweet decadent breakfast with a fun atmosphere and had plenty of time to relax. This is because they do not skimp on the good unhealthy stuff like heavy creams piled high for iced coffee drinks and blueberry compote for pancakes. Also, because I have personally yet to see a Monte Christo on a Myrtle Beach menu until now and I love a good brunch they receive points for...
Read moreThere’s a new breakfast / lunch spot open in Myrtle Beach, Honey Bees breakfast & lunch (@honeybees.breakfast ). Annie (@anniessweetstuff ) and I had to give it a try this morning and we were so pleasantly happy with our decision. We both had orange juice for drinks and they were cold and refreshing this morning . Annie decided on a Western Omelette with bacon , toast and hash browns, omelette perfectly prepared, plenty of ham, onions , peppers and just the right amount of chedder jack cheese, toast light and lightly buttered , bacon crisp and hash browns had a nice taste to them. I went for the Hungry Man’s breakfast with 2 sunny side up eggs, 2 pancakes , bacon , sausage , hash browns and fresh fruit , I added toast and 2 more eggs….. eggs cooked perfectly, pancakes light fluffy and large , bacon nice and crisp, sausage thick and delicious , toast perfect with a light buttering . A delicious breakfast we both enjoyed this morning . Our server Erika was friendly, open, welcoming and attentive. The attention to details was so delightful, the honey comb on the tables, walls and ceiling , the bee on the wall, the logo on all the dishes and glasses and the bar top seating area was so inviting and warm and the reasonable pricing was a nice...
