My mom and I were craving a coffee while sitting on the beach and found that Grand Strand was in walking distance from where we were staying. After first discovering it at the beginning of our trip, we then walked here every day for the remainder of our trip. As we started each day we craved delicious lattes and breakfast sandwiches, and were always satisfied when we came to Grand Strand. The baristas were extremely friendly and attentive! They had a variety of drink options, flavors that I typically don’t see at most coffeeshops like their Vietnamese iced coffee and panela based latte. My favorite part is that the hot lattes were always the perfect temperature, and tasted amazing. Also !!!! it always made my day and visit special to see that they have the sweetest cat named Macchiato who hangs out on the patio. Grand Strand was the highlight to my trip, and whenever I’m back at Myrtle Beach this will definitely be the first stop I make.

Support local coffee shops! This is the second location for locally owned and operated Grand Strand Coffee. The proprietors, Banks and Bettina(pictured), are deeply passionate about their business. Banks is a coffee trader and has international experience in traveling to find the best beans with the relationships to get it done. The shop itself is the brainchild of his great wife, Bettina. On this particular day I attended a coffee class on the history of coffee, where Banks took us around the world on the journey of the discovery of the wonderful brown bean. Five samples and a bag along with detailed storytelling were a huge value. I chose the Ethiopia to take home, a natural washed fruit forward single origin coffee. Grand Strand Coffee is a spot where you can get a delicious Palmetto house blend, or a higher end single origin pour over, and a variety of lattes.

This place has drink coffee. Really? Nice ladies working, it pretty good service. I will go back today and get another coffee. Not just because the coffee and the food was good, but the ladies that were working, it are really, really nice. That's what brings people back! And trust me, I visited local coffee places everywhere I go. Arkansas, Montana, west, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, every place, and this is one of the better places you must go. If you like coffee and like pits or something you're pretty place! .I went to second time and it was just as good as the first time and they were just as friendly, great place to do it.
