Paradise Pancake & Omelette House — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

I hate to give this place a 1 starlet because our waitress, Nicole, was amazing and the food was outstanding. Unfortunately, the behavior of the hostess, Dawn, ruined a completely pleasant dining experience.

We arrived with a group of what would have been 8. Two of our guests were there first and already sitting and eating. Another guest decided to dine with us and brought 3 children which meant we needed 4 additional seats. The place was not busy and has several available tables directly next to us that could have easily been moved to accommodate the change in guest. They had initially planned to just take 1 of the booths across from us but we decided to ask if they could move the additional table next to our. Dawn began to yell that we told her 8 guest. She was so loud that other guests in the restaurant were focused on us. After repeating herself and reminding us how many guest we initially stated, another waitress kindly began to move the table, which could have easily been done by Dawn. The way she treated our addition guests resulting in them deciding to leave. They refused to spend money in this restaurant.

I've been to this place several times and always had a great experience. Dawn should be given training on how to respectfully interact with customers. She single handedly could ruin the chances of people recommending this restaurant.

I'd like to add that all other staff was wonderful! Other waitresses spoke with all tables, not just their own and everyone seemed pleased to work there. That in itself helped...

Dine in and spent almost $90 breakfast here, My husband ordering 3 sets of egg omelet, one is ham and cheese, and as my husband about to order the next item. I literally said that please no cheese on that, the server didn't say anything or to let us know that she can heard me. So my husband said you can keep that cheese on the side and then server quickly said they can't do that. Then I quickly answered that my girls are allergy to cheese. Then she said that ok. We can keep it out no problem. I told her you can throw my Daughter's on mine because I wanted extra anyway. The server Ignore what I said. She did not say anything back. So I repeat that again. And then she said to me I heard that, and quickly turned to my husband continued having conversations with my husband on the order, that was kind of rude, I was upset on her unprofessional reaction. so I said that ma'am you didn't say anything to let me know that you heard me and you can or can't do it for me!! She again ignored me and rushing go to put in the order. This old lady she kind fast and didn't pay attention on what customers really want. My food was served with no extra Cheese!! As I requested. All of our omelet eggs and hashbrown were dried, the ham in the omelet was burned. My girls are eat only one bite and spit it out. The only thing is good and we ate it all is they French toast stuff with whipped cream and strawberry banana on top. If you are looking for good breakfast and egg I do not...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! It’s AWFUL!!!! The grits are like water, the bacon is fake, everything is over priced, and they cannot get an order right if their life depended on it spent $32 today and what I thought was going to be a delicious breakfast only to receive simply the omelette and some cubed potatoes.

I was missing my hashbrowns, my raisin toast in my extra order of grits that I paid good money for

So I sent my door dasher back to retrieve the items, and the owner proceeds to tell the Dasher as they are getting ready to close down, literally told her we don’t even have raisin toast cubed, potatoes are hashbrowns, and despite her photographic evidence that every door dasher takes… they say they did include an extra order of grits, when they most certainly did not.

They don’t even have a phone number to contact them they use a cell phone. The owner said that is so unprofessional.

I’m going to leave this nice one star review for everyone to see and till I get a response from management and either the issue corrected or my money back. End of story.
