As someone that eats peruvian food all my life, this place has been one of the worst serviced, worst tasting I've had. The service right off the bat was terrible. Even though we were seated immediately, we were not given times or if it was a busy night. From our perspective, it wasn't too busy a little wait wouldn't hurt. We had to be out by 10 and we got there at 7:45. It took our waitress 20 minutes to come by and take our drink order and with that time we had already decided what to eat so we planned on giving our entire order, but our waitress said to give her a second so she can do that separately. On a Friday night, they had no chicha, one of the busiest night, did not have any made so we had to get water. Finally after another 10 minutes, we were able to get our drinks and order in. We sat there for an hour with no food coming out. We waited until there we could find our waitress to just cancel and we couldn't find her for what felt like forever. When we finally did, we asked to just cancel our food and we'll pay for the drinks cause we had to leave in 20 minutes, to which she replied with "but the foods coming out right now, just give me a second to grab it". We told her if we can just get boxes so we can just pack it up to go and she obliged and got us the boxes and the check. We paid for the food BEFORE EVEN GETTING THE FOOD, but at this point we were just so over it and wanted to leave. She had us sit there another 15 minutes before all the food was out, half of our plates came out cold, the other half hot. We were very upset so we just packed our food and left. Now to talk about the food. One of the least flavored, sorry excuse for peruvian food. It didn't taste like an once of salt was on anything. I got the Lomo saltado and was immediately faced with something that didn't look or taste like it. Not only that, they still had the sticker on the tomato that was cooked into my food. I wish I could say I was making this up or exaggerating but the food was not good and not prepared well. It seems as though the resturant was trying to be more fancy than good food. Overall, the service and food were not good, the only thing I can say was nice was the resturant. Walking in, it seems like the fanciest place for it being myrtle. Beautiful on the inside, a beautiful bar, everyone in a great mood, family feel. Other than that, everything was awful. I don't see myself coming back, and to everyone who wants to go, keep in mind that you'll be there for a while for food less than average.

Moved to Myrtle Beach about 6 months ago from Pittsburgh and have not found many restaurants I like at all. The restaurants in Myrtle Beach are mostly all geared towards tourists to get you in an out with cheap food, low quality garbage, and they just want to get you out the door. I Google searched Italian restaurants and La Vino Tinto came up. I had been searching for a place that sold arepas ever since I moved from Pittsburgh and mostly every Latino restaurant around said there’s nowhere in Myrtle Beach that sells them. When this place came up under Italian restaurants I decided to look at the menu. I was in shock when I saw they sold arepas so I decided to try. This place is a hidden gem. My new favorite restaurant. Food was amazing! My only complaint was trying to order over the phone lol. The girl that answered the phone couldn’t understand me so she kept hanging up on me, so I decided to go there in person. I’m glad I did. The rice was good, shredded beef arepa was jam packed with meat and cheese, and the plantains were good

Authentic South American goodness! A really wonderful break from the traditional fare of the grand Strand. Wow wow wow! We recently returned from a trip to Panama, where we experienced some gorgeous South American restaurants. We were excited to try some of those favorites (such as Arepas) again. Everything was beautiful and authentic. I had the whole fried fish, and my husband had the VinoTinto mixto, which was a little bit of everything. I always love a whole fish, and this one was so beautifully done. Fresh and lovely and not overcooked. The server was excellent, and the drinks were good as well. There was only one issue that I could find with the restaurant… it was chilly. We asked that they turn up the heat a little bit, and they certainly did try. But overall it was just so cold that we left our coats on. I noticed all the other patrons had their coats on as well, so hopefully they will be able to tweak the temp so it’s a little bit warmer in the future. I sing the praises of this wonderful food. We will be back!
