Mad Myrtle's Ice Creamery — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

I've never written a review on a restaurant before but the experience was so bad we had to. And keep in mind this is coming from college students who are really not picky about anything. The workers were discussing amongst themselves how they would come into work drunk and high, and they seemed high while serving us. They commented on how they never measured and just "went by how it felt." Normally this may be a good sign of a seasoned chef, but unfortunately that was not the case, despite our milkshakes being 16 dollars each. Ummm.. amaze-balls peach yogurt ice cream! Walking along the street, decided I wanted to get a scoop. Rolled into Mad Myrtle's to check it out. Pretty cool joint, kind of looks like a 50's place, with lots of little niknaks about. Alyssa was working by herself and she was super fun and chipper. My son ordered the Root Beer Float with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and couldn't stop drinking it, and telling me how much he loved it. My wife ordered the S'mores Freakshake with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream. It was then topped off with Hershey Chocolate Bar, graham cracker, chocolate dipped marshmallow and two straws. She couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. Then she scraped off the side with all the chocolate and graham crackers.
