I’m going to leave a 3 just because our waiter did everything he could to make it a good experience. This was Saturday July 14th around 8ish, if you’re that host that was working that day you need an attitude adjustment. The most nasty person ever, upon arriving at the front where the host was she’s on the tablet, I’m assuming it’s the work tablet. Looks like she’s scrolling, I didn’t wanted to bother her Incase she was in the middle of something and needed a few more minutes to finish. So me, my sister & daughter are just standing looking like idiots waiting to have her attention or finish scrolling on the tablet. She finally looks up not even saying good after noon a hello nothing she went ahead and said “how many” and I told her “party of 3 please” she looks at us with no expression and said “ I’m sorry” again I repeat it “ Party of 3”. She then proceeded to say “ we are not sitting inside to packed, just outside ” I’m all confused because it’s sooooooo hot outside and I see two tables available . So then I told her, that we are just here to watch the game, if we can just get a small table. She didn’t even have the decency to go check if any table was available, she then very rude again said “we are not sitting inside just outside. So then I proceeded to tell her that it’s fine we will sit outside even though I didn’t wanted to especially in that heat. As she finished sitting us & went back to attend the other family, I poke my head inside to get some breeze I see the host sitting a party of 5 to a table in the back. The same party that was behind us. And before you say oh maybe it was reserved, nope my sister went to check and it wasn’t. I’m furious, why tell us you can’t sit inside and then go sit a family of 5 inside, make it make sense. Thankfully our waiter, David saw me at the door way and ask if we needed any assistance, so I told him the whole drama & and fortunately he went to see if there was any tables available and there was a table near the screen with the AC. We went to this place to watch live soccer on Saturday night, if it wasn’t for our waiter to go above & beyond our night would have been ruined because of the nasty attitude of that host. His customer service was excellent. Get people that will give a good service because I’m the type of person that I will always be nice to anyone giving me a service. I use to work in the food industry and I understand people can be rude, but if your the employee not giving a good service that’s not right. Food...
Read moreSeñor Frogs in Myrtle Beach is a vibrant, fun-filled Mexican restaurant that delivers a memorable dining experience, especially if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere and flavorful dishes. Perched right on the water, the scenic views added a fantastic touch to our meal, making it a perfect spot to soak in the coastal vibes while enjoying some classic Mexican fare. The star of the show here is undoubtedly the margaritas. These aren’t just drinks—they’re an event! Served in massive, colorful containers that could easily double as fishbowls, the margaritas are as bold as they are big. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tangy lime and tequila kick, they’re refreshing and ideal for sharing (or not!). The sheer size of these drinks makes them a fun, Instagram-worthy highlight, and they kept the table buzzing with energy. The food was equally impressive, particularly the Mahi Mahi tacos and burritos. Both dishes were elevated by the spectacular mango jalapeño sauce, which deserves its own spotlight. The sauce struck a perfect harmony of sweet, tropical mango and a subtle, spicy jalapeño heat that complemented the tender, flaky Mahi Mahi beautifully. The tacos were fresh and vibrant, with the fish cooked to perfection, while the burritos were generously stuffed and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight, and the sauce tied it all together in a way that left us raving. My only gripe is the pricing of the food. While the quality was undeniable, the entrees felt a bit steep for what you get, especially since they don’t come with sides like rice or beans. Including a small portion of these staples would make the plates feel more complete and justify the cost a bit more. It’s a minor complaint, but it stood out in an otherwise stellar experience. Overall, Señor Frogs delivered an awesome dining experience. The combination of those gigantic, delicious margaritas, the standout Mahi Mahi dishes with that incredible mango jalapeño sauce, and the unbeatable waterfront setting made it a meal to remember. If you’re in Myrtle Beach and craving Mexican with a side of fun, this place is a must-visit—just be prepared to splurge a bit...
Read moreThis is my 1st time at Broadway on the Beach and we passed by the restaurant Senior Frogs and it looked like fun. However, this has been the worst dinning experience I have had in a longtime. We were pulled in by the lights and balloon hats everyone was wearing, but the atmosphere can not compensate for terrible food and bad service. We started off with the chicken taqitos appetizer, which was gritty and unappealing. I let the waitress know before receiving our main coursed that no one at the table liked it. More than half of the food had been left on the plate. We each had a small bite before figuring out ot was terrible. My daughter had the Chicken Alfredo which was okay. It was anything to rave about. I had a Mango Salad with Chicken, which was also gritty. My foster daughter had a corn dogs and fries, my husband the Fajitas Trio. The super loud music and swirling lights made us all want to retreat after about 20 minutes. But the biggest surprise was that when the bill came, I reminded the waitress that I didn't want the appetizer which cost $15.00. The bill came to $119.62. She went to have the manager take it off the bill but returned with a bill of nearly $122.00 because he decided to apply gratuity which had not been charged before, claiming that it was busy now and they do this for all the customers (as if I am BoBo the Fool). I sent it back and it changed back to the amount that it was supposed to be of $102.00. I still handed the waitress a $20 tip, but trust me this place isn't worth the money, the headache and the very real nausea that I experienced. If I had read the reviews before walking in, I would have had a bettee night. But I let excitement and lights override my common sense. Please be...
