The Sandbar at Sharkey’s — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

If leaving 0 stars was an option i would IMMEDIATELY. When my boyfriend and i got there we ordered drinks and food and the only good thing we got were the gator bites. we were in there for an HOUR 45 MINUTES just for dinner. We got a ceaser salad, which had enough dressing for 5 salads it wasn’t even edible, garlic parm wings which were soggy, slimy, and not fully cooked, and a pork ribeye which was awful. We saw our waiter maybe 4 times. get our drink orders, come back with drinks and our appetizer and then for our food and check. we never got any refills on drinks which were gone before our food came out and she never gave us a chance to get more. we got our bill and it was $74 with a gratuity already added. I always tip 20% and above but if it was my choice to tip i wouldn’t have left ANYTHING. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this place. we got sick the moment we left and couldn’t even enjoy the shops in the plaza because we were too sick from the food to go. i’ve never wasted so much money on something...

STAY AWAY!!!! We here on 8/24/24 If I could give this place negative stars I would.Male bartender short hair cared more about the 2 single females at the bar. Was out of Jambalaya, out of sweet, draft was broken, the ocean front seating was "closed" however there were "bros" of the bartender going in and out of the water front patio with fresh drinks every 20 minutes or so. The cook was running food around but he was the best part of the experience. Food quality wasn't great. Pork chop is very chewy and stringy and under cooked due to the bartender not putting the order in until everyone else at the table received their food. We only had 4 adults, in a place that was completely empty when we arrived. Child Grilled cheese was made with the heels of the loaf of bread, and it was burnt and greasy, oh and it's $10.

Well for starters we were left waiting for 40 minutes for two appetizers. I ordered the shrimp tacos. The shrimp were slimey and undercooked. And my girlfriend paid 13$ for 5 tiny scallops. At some point she flagged them down to ask for an eta and the waitress popped and promptly walked out with lukewarm food. So it had been done for a while.
