We decided to eat here while wondering down the Myrtle Beach boardwalk. We went on a Monday evening in March and the restaurant was pretty full and seemed to be understaffed at the time. We tried to call our order in ahead but no one picked up the phone after letting it ring almost 2 minutes. The restaurant was nice and well decorated but a little dark and "tight" feeling. All staff wore masks consistently and there was hand sanitizers at the doors. My wife did mentioned that some of the employees weren't the best with making sure their noses were also covered. We did do carry out as we are still uncomfortable eating indoors at restaurants with our 3 young kids. There was an option to eat outside at the restaurant but it was windy and chilly outside while we were visiting.
We ordered: Fried Chicken Roll - the kids really liked this and it was definitely something unique we've never seen before. It looked great and tasted great and was a good portion for the price. There was lots of extra mac and cheese on the top. The kids wanted more but we only got 1 order.
Fried Pickle Planks - these were a must request from the wife. They did not disappoint. They were hot and crispy even after the 10 minute drive back to the house. I was able to get 1 as everyone else had been scarfing them down. The only downside was there was only 1 small container of ranch that came with it. I'm sure if we ate in the restaurant we could've asked for more but the kids were fighting over what was left of the ranch. Would totally order this again.
From best to least...
Michaelangelo - this sounded the most mundane of the sandwiches we ordered but everyone agreed this tasted the best! It was the perfect combination of sweet and salty and juicy and crispy. Sometimes you just don't mess with a good thing. We would order this again.
Warhol - this my wife ordered by accident (confusing burger names, we actually wanted the scream which was next to it on the menu but didn't realize it until we got home). It actually tasted very good. The chicken was just as juicy as the michaelangelo. The spice from the jalapenos was good too. Although we decided the sweet from the tomato jam in the michaelangelo just was a better compliment of flavors. If you wanted a little spice in your sandwich this may hit the spot. Personally if I was looking for a spicy chicken sandwich this was no where near spicy enough for me.
Munch - we wanted to try this because of the pork belly. We wanted the pork belly bites but was told it was not available when we ordered. This burger tasted good overall. The pork belly was very fatty and made an interesting texture with the rest of the burger. The fried egg is always a nice touch but as always does get quite messy when you break the yolk. Also couldn't really taste much of the mustard. A very respectful sandwich but wouldn't go out of my way to get it.
Rembrandt - this just sounded very weird all around so we were really excited about it and wanted to try it. Sadly it just didn't taste right. All the individual ingredients sounded great but when put together it just tasted weird. It wasn't bad, we still ate it all but it just wasn't great either. It was kind of "eh". There are just many better options to pick from on the menu. We would not order this one again.
Side Fries - all the burgers came with a side of fries and I normally wouldn't have said much about them but these fries were interesting. They actually had a slightly sweet flavor to them? Maybe they added sugar and salt but they tasted really good. I normally always have some kind of condiment with my fries but these I could just eat plain all day. It made us sad that we did not end up trying the Art House Fries from the appetizer menu. The bill was just getting too large.
Overall we really liked Art Burger Sushi Bar as it had some interesting selections on the menu. Some were hit and others were miss but overall very good. We would definitely go back given the opportunity but at the same time we would not make a special trip out of our...

Read moreSadly I was quite disappointed with my experience here. I made a reservation for this past Saturday at 6:30 for a party of 6, when we arrived we were sat with menus and everything started out great, then we were ignored for 30 minutes, our waitress didn't even ask us what we wanted to drink, the restaurant wasn't busy, there was 2 other families sitting inside, sadly there was a large party outside on the balcony , but we all witnessed 3 servers standing around and talking, all while not making eye contact with my family and I who were still waiting. My family and I ended up walking out after we waited for 30 minutes and we're told our server would be over soon. Soon? How soon is soon? I had a reservation and so far we've been waiting the better part of an hour just to get our drink order taken, much less how long it probably would've taken to get our food order taken.. Did I mention it was also a birthday celebration. So we all walked out and went to Walburgers in Broadway at the Beach and got a delicious burger, and just for future reference and learning for this place, we were sat immediately, even though they WERE busy, took our drink orders within 3 minutes, food order within 10, and we had our food for a party of 6 within 30 minutes of arriving.... not still waiting 30 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Yall do better... my whole family including myself have all been servers/waitresses in our past, and that service waiting horrible and almost ruined the celebration. Sadly won't be back again if this is the service we can expect, we've been once before and the food was amazing, so nothing against the...
