Like many other downtown employees, I was a regular customer. There really isn't anywhere else to go where I am, & their ice tea is very good. But since a previous manager left a couple of years ago, the service has definitely gotten worse. I blame poor management. Over the past few months, they have had several different crews running it. Some are nice, some are rude, but all of them seem disorganized. They stay for a while, then they are replaced by a new crew. One exception is the greeter. He is nice & opens doors & wipes down counters. I really like him. But the physical store looks rundown, & they have an ongoing water leak that never gets fixed. Water stands where people have to walk by the counter. If the employees didn't have to spend time mopping up water, maybe they could spend that time serving customers. Water was almost to the door yesterday. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Three times in the last few months, they gave me iced coffee instead of tea. Another couple of times, they ran out of unsweet tea. How do you run out of a beverage when your business is selling beverages? Not everyone drinks coffee. And not everyone who drinks tea wants it syrupy sweet. I get unsweet & sweeten it to my taste. Yesterday I ordered large unsweet tea. They had the tea but were out of large cups, so I could only get medium. It's just too much. I am giving up...
Read moreJust tried to go in there for a coffee and the lady at the register with a mask half down her face was rude, argumentative and just clearly didn’t want to be helpful. I usually go to the starbies on church but since they closed you all are the next closest to me. My fav to order is a caramel ribbon frappe w/ a blonde shot. I was trying to ask her for something similar but she didn’t seem like she wanted to be knowledgeable on your menu or try to think of a similar solution. I was in there the other day and couldn’t remember how the previous cashier told me to ring it in. She just kept saying we have nothing similar or it’s crème and it’s not blended for coffee it’s iced or hot or we don’t have that crunch thing or we just don’t have that type of drink. Even when I tried to explain how the other lady was able to find an Alternative and did it. She was just plain rude and dismissive. How are you gonna be a cashier if you can’t be friendly and willing to listen and adapt. Or...
Read moreWent one morning on my way to work. I simply inquired about my hash browns that I ordered because my bus was leaving. The man there had a nasty attitude and made it seem like I was rushing the staff. I tried to get the hash browns off my order cause my bus was gonna leave in seconds. So I had to go on the bus, I ask the bus driver if I can see about them and she said yes with warning me she would have to go. I come back in and the same man in a nasty attitude told me how I left my hash browns after I had waited for about five minutes before attempting to get on the bus.
