Read moreJust went through the drive-thru, requested all my food be made fresh because of the drive I'm about to make home, about 30 minutes away; I was perfectly fine pulling up to wait for it to be made fresh. I sat for about 15-20 minutes at the reserved sign which was fine as long as my food is fresh. Well, it wasn't and so I asked for it to be made again; I was told it was no biggie and that it would be done. Waited again and the "manager" came to the door and handed me the money I paid for my food. I thought he was doing it as a courtesy for their mess up...no, it was his crooked way of saying "I don't want your business."...because I asked for my food fresh?! I wasn't rude or disrespectful to anyone I dealt with there and that's all I received from the employees that work here. They got a security guard because so many customers want to fight and argue with them.... Believe me when I say, the only reason anyone would want to waste energy in doing so is because the employees are just as lazy and the "manager". How are you allowed to come to work with you hair everywhere and unwashed, clothes stained and no where near matching, and a personality not fit to be working with the public BUT the "manager" comes to work in slacks and a sweater, clean cut, and smelling good?! Kind of like a mother that stays getting her hair & nails done and shopping but the kids raggedy?! The line was WAY backed up and orders were being handed out wrong and with having previous work experience at McDonalds I offered the manager advice on how to properly run the place and he sarcastically thanked me for my advice and told me if I wanted to give the money back he refunded, he would go in and personally remake my order....uhm, no. As a manager, you should have never allowed your employees to come in looking the way they ALL did while your dressed as if your going to church; you should make sure your employees comprehend English when a customer says "made fresh"that means you take it from the freezer and cook it, not pull it from a drawer that's been sitting untouched for 20+ minutes; when your employees mess up a simple request, you personally fix itas a courtesy you offer a free pie/shake, if it's bigger mess up you offer a free meal card/refundyou don't tell a customer to leave because YOU and/or YOUR employees messed up an order!! And before you go threatening someone with security....make sure you hire someone fit and in shape to be able to properly provide security to the business/employees, not someone that has a beer gut and can barely breathe after walking 10ft from the place of business!! Since when does McDonald NEED a security...
This McDonald's made me pretty sad. And it wasn't just because the food was only halfway done and pretty cold, either. There were a lot of people on the streets in this city- especially in the general area of this McDonald's (but A LOT of other areas too,). The amount of resources/ shelters available here is shameful. That's the reason I will not be back to Nashville again. That's a story for another day, though. Anyway, there was a homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk outside of the McDonald's before it opened in the morning. He could have been under age-or else very very young. He was alone and rail thin. Once inside, the McDonald's employee was so rude to him. I had already ordered and was waiting for my food when I heard him ask the woman at the register if he could use the bathroom. The majority of people who need somewhere to do their business usually don't have an issue at McDonald's. Meaning: it's a universally known place for a pit stop. Regardless of who you are. I understand the reason for wanting to control the population in and out of the public restrooms throughout the city for obvious reasons. However, because of the lack of available resources for those living in unimaginable circumstances, most without a home or a single soul to accompany them, then I think the McDonald's workers could cut them a break once in a while. She had the power to allow the poor boy to use the restroom after she clearly just saw him sleeping on the sidewalk, suggesting that he had nowhere else to go. I think this begs the argument: Can't the "store policy" be set aside from time to time and allow for humanity, empathy and compassion to step in and be the judgement call? I decided to buy him breakfast. I made sure that he ordered what he wanted from that employee so that he would be allowed to sit and eat inside and use the restroom if he wished. This was a great example of one of the Great Facts Life: We can ALL do better for...
Read moreAfter reading all of the one-star rate reviews, I do not feel bad leaving my own 1 star rating. The poor customer service at this restaurant is just as bad as the cold food that is served. I have had the bad luck several times having to deal with the Foolery at this McDonald's location due to working Uber Eats delivery. From the staff to the bad quality of service, every time I am at this location it is like a bad episode from Jerry Springer. Employees cursing at customers and other employees , long lines of people waiting in the Drive-Thru and inside at the front counter , bad management , but tonight January 31st it reached a new low...tonight the cashier decided he is going to make a new rule for Uber Eats delivery people trying to make them start a delivery without picking up the food first. This completely goes against the ubereats policy, and this guy decided that he was going to make up his own rules to avoid people stealing food which is not a problem from The Uber Eats delivery people, it's a problem from poor management at this McDonalds. Maybe if the staff took some etiquette in customer service oh, and some grooming, there may be a possibility for 2 star rating. You cross the the line when you decide you want to play "boss" and start yelling at customers especially if one of those customers happens to be my girlfriend. After tonight, if I ever have to go into that place and deal with the drama that awaits everyone that comes through that door, I will edit this post and add a video to prove how much of a circus this place is. If you do UberEats, Postmates, or other food delivery, you know all about the cold food, wrong orders, and most of all bad service that will affect your rating if you aren't careful. If you have to go here, I'd pass it off to someone else and not risk your reputation dealing with such a bad location to order food or do deliveries. This place needs people skills intervention and...
