Neighbors Gulch — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I sent this to Neighbors as I saw in another review that the Operations Manager/President left his email to contact but never got a response after sending on June 25th. I guess a review may have a bigger impact.

I saw your email on Google Reviews from a few days ago and wanted to send you a direct message before leaving a negative review because we have had good things to say about Neighbors Gulch and it's probably something that can be fixed without a permanent review.

I live nearby and walk our dogs (and also visit the patio often ) with them.

This Spring/Summer, there's been a lot of occurrences where there's large pieces of broken glass on the patio of the Gulch location that is also making its way down to the public street.

Just this morning, there was not only glass on the patio, but there were large glass pieces all over the public street as well. As you'd expect, when you're walking your dog, you try to avoid any issues that could severely damage their paws and cause a doctor visit. It's not always easy living in a city with so many things out there.

Is it possible that there can be some adjustments made for the outdoor patio? I don't know if better street and patio level cleaning on a more regular basis is the answer. Or trying to limit the outside when it comes to glass or looking at alternative options that aren't glass. But it just seems like the street/patio area of Neighbors is always worse than any other patio that we've seen in the Gulch and would love if anything can be done. It just makes it hard to visit the patio when there's broken glass that's hard to see.

Just trying to provide some feedback so that we are able to continue to enjoy Neighbors and the street nearby...

I recently visited Neighbors in the Gulch and had an outstanding experience, thanks to the exceptional bartending service provided by Katie, Chance, and Vicky. From the moment I walked in, their friendly and welcoming demeanor set the tone for a fantastic evening.

Katie's expertise in crafting cocktails is truly impressive. She recommended a few signature drinks, and each one was a delightful blend of flavors. Her attention to detail and ability to personalize drinks based on individual preferences made the experience feel special and tailored.

Chance brought an infectious energy to the bar, making everyone feel at ease. His knowledge of the extensive drink menu and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure everyone had a great time was evident throughout the night. Whether shaking up a classic or creating something unique, Chance’s skill and enthusiasm were top-notch.

Vicky’s warm and attentive service rounded out the team perfectly. She was quick to check in and make sure our glasses were never empty. Her ability to balance efficiency with a friendly conversation made her stand out as a true professional.

Together, Katie, Chance, and Vicky create a dynamic trio that elevates the bartending experience at Neighbors in the Gulch. Their combined talents, friendly attitudes, and commitment to excellent service make this bar a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and see what they have in store next time!

This place is DELICIOUS!! The half order of nachos is HUGE!!! One of the better sports bars I've been to, as well! All was amazing! I had a less than attentive waitress but the rest of the team took care of me and made sure to help me when I started to look around! Lol

I had plans to buy the steak salad as well but between the huge nachos and my waitress never checking up on me, I gave up on ordering more.

Keep in mind that most places around this area are going CASH FREE. That blindsided me as I am terrible at reading all the crap posted on doors. I assume they are all advertisements and just keep it moving. No where else on the menu or on the table did it say cash only. The waitress also did not inform me at the table.

The service is two stars just because I was checked on by three other waitresses and two managers and they ended up taking my cash since I asked for no change. My main waitress came to my table twice. Once to bring one of my beers and once to bring my check. One other time she quickly passed by me to ask if everything was good. (Mind you this was after I asked for the check from a manager that checked on me.) The other waitresses checked on me and got me a ton of jalapeños for my nachos and a refill while I watched the game! All in all I would...
