Just received an order via Uber Eats from Rise. I cannot even begin to explain my disgust. I ordered a ham biscuit, biscuits and gravy, blueberry biscuit, and chicken box. To begin, the biscuits and gravy weren't even included in my order, which could have been an Uber Eats error or a Rise error, I do not know. The true issue is the fact the ham in the ham biscuit was straight rotten and that is NOT an Uber Eats error. It smelled like old, wet pet food that you could smell without even opening the bag. Once you looked at the ham, it had a sickly grey tint. I braved a small bite of the ham and had to spit it out immediately because the taste was unbearable. I have worked in the food industry for years and know what food looks, smells, and tastes like when fresh and what happens when food goes bad, and in this case, rotten. I ordered through Uber Eats and their reputation for refunds is slim-to-none, so a refund for this is almost out of the question. I am writing in hopes to grab the attention of the kitchen manager, GM, prep team, or whoever overlooks how food is prepped, labeled, stored, and sold to buying customers. Something like this is unacceptable and standards should be higher; for the sake of your future customers. Though at this point, I wouldn't consider myself to be a future customer at...
Read morePreviously I would have given a 5 star review & said it's one of my new favorite eatery. They had these great thick fluffy biscuits with loads of blueberries inside and out. The last time I went it was close to closing. I ordered 8 of Glazed Blueberry biscuits. I got 6 and 2 of something idk the name of but they were like a hard cinnamon biscuit. The cinnamon biscuits just fell apart if you tried to bite it because it was so hard. Now I loved those Glazed Blueberry biscuits. I've ordered many times. When I got home I was so disappointed when I saw what I got. I just couldn't believe the Blueberry biscuits were not fluffy at all. They were hard and flat like a cookie. No blueberries inside. It looked like someone just poured a tablespoon of blueberry preserves on top. Which dried them out and they just rolled off. I normally only do reviews if the place is good. But I just hope the owner & management see this and fixes the problem. I don't mind paying $4.99 for a great big fluffy biscuit filled with juicy blueberries but this was next day 2 for $1 quality and that's a stretch really. I REALLY loved them and hope they will go back to making nice fluffy biscuits because I want 2 right now but I'm afraid to order them in case they changed cooks or just decided that they want to sell flat hard dried...
Read moreVisited RISE located at 153 Rep. John Lewis Way N, Nashville, TN 37219 for the first time yesterday with great anticipation of having a great time however it was a complete disaster and the worst dining experience ever. First it took 23 minutes for our order to be completed and we noticed people who placed their orders after us were getting their orders first and it went down hill from there. My first sandwich had a plastic container top in it which I found on the first bite At this point I was so upset I forgot to take a picture. I requested another sandwich and then had to wait again. After finally receiving the replacement SAUSAGE sandwich, it was undercooked and RAW inside. Please see picture as sausage was clearly PINK and pork should not be served RARE. Spoke to Spencer, manager, and instead of simply acknowledging the error, he tried to convince me that the sausage was cook properly and it should be pink/raw inside. I am also a food servivce professional and ServSafe certification prohibits serving undercooked meats, especially pork as it can cause food bourne illnesses. This tragic experience was not only a display of poor service but also a blatant disregard for customer health. ABSOLUTELY...
