Hard disagree with the negative reviews. Not sure about the review that said, "No indication of who owns it either." Seriously? The name is Wahlburgers. Not Obamacaroni. Not Kardashish kebabs. It's Wahlburgers. There are film and TV posters on every wall at every table with the owners on them. I got to eat next to Mark's Transformers poster during the meal (nice guy, pretty quiet). Some people just have to find something to complain about.
We travel to Vegas about every 6 months and this was my first time eating at a Wahlburgers. We visited the Mandalay Bay location last Thursday night and we were immediately seated. I was surprised to see it so empty, but the whole shopping area was almost deserted. The server took our drink orders while we looked at the menus. They had Pepsi products in the fountain, but real Mexican Coke was available by the bottle and it was so good! We had a couple questions about the menu that were answered quickly. Although our server was knowlegable, even if they didn't know the menu by heart, who cares? We were in Vegas having a great time!
We had 2 double cheeseburgers, medium, and shared an order of fries. Everything came out in less than 15 minutes and we were pleasantly surprised. The burgers were amazing and juicy, and the fries were natural cut, hot and delicious. We ordered a side of tartar sauce and even that was good!
There was an older couple seated next to us and their server had a nice chat with them. They seemed really happy that someone took the time to talk to them and look at some of their vacation photos. It was really sweet of him so hopefully more diners see this side of the joint.
New restaurants have some quirks to work out. I didn't see any of those here. Overall we were really happy with the experience and can't...
Read moreMy wife and I made the unfortunate decision to eat at the “new” Wahlburgers restaurant at Mandalay Bay tonight. While the ambiance of the restaurant was nice there were some big flaws with my server that I feel the management needs to take a strong look at. My server tonight was a lady named Danyelle. First, she took her time greeting us at our table which sadly made us feel very unwelcomed by her. When she finally came back I had questions but she wasn’t very knowledgeable of the menu. She had a very condescending tone with us when we asked her about a couple of items. Finally we ordered and began eating shortly thereafter. At no point did Danyelle come over to check on our table. Not for drink refills or to see how the food came out. She took what seemed like forever to bring us our check. It was taking so long we had to ask another server to remind her. Danyelle finally brought the check for me to sign and failed to leave me a pen. The other server we spoke with was pleasant and apologetic when she let us use her pen. Danyelle looked completely overwhelmed but didn’t seem to care enough about any of her customers as we witnessed a number of her customers unhappy and agitated. I hope the management team sees this review and either puts her thru some serious remedial training for product knowledge and customer service or replaces her altogether. It’s a shame this happened and ruined...
Read moreI had a medical situation on 3/25/2025 at around 5:45 PM where I was having an asthma attack, and the staff really came through and helped me avoid a serious situation.
My family and I were enjoying visiting the different casinos, but all of the smoking was taking a toll on my asthma. My family and I stopped in at Wahlburgers and ordered food, but staff saw that I was not looking right. I let them know that I had asthma and it was getting really bad and they asked me what they could do to help. I let them know that hot water would help me breathe better, so they immediately took care of that need before things got really bad. I was able to breathe in the steam and stabilize myself enough to eat with my family and get back to my room to retrieve my inhaler.
This was such a small gesture of hospitality that could have been ignored, but the waitstaff at Wahlburgers honestly complied without hesitation. I am genuinely thankful for their gratitude and prompt service. I tipped 20% and wish I could have done more with my limited teacher salary. The workers there authentically care about their customers.
Thank you all for your kindness. When surrounded by businesses trying to get every last dollar out of you, it's heart-warming to see that your business set profits aside to look out for someone in distress. You guys are really awesome. Thank...
