I am not sure how anybody would want to visit this place. it is a real hole in the wall. My wife and I went in to have a drink but while she sat at the bar she walked out based on the service she was getting. This whilst i went to use the bathroom after which I was accosted and physically pushed by the lady in charge (big bullish lady). She proceeded to say there is a one drink minimum to use the bathroom which was not our main purpose here..I was then approached by one of her thugs with the intention to make me fear for my life to buy one drink...seriously??? I didn't even have the drink..I just paid for a budweiser and told her criminally inclined bodyguard dressed in a hoody with hands in is his pocket to have the beer because I really did not care and I was not about to get into a brawl over one lousy beer...like seriously!! All I can say is....avoid avoid avoid.... are way better dive bars in New Orleans. I was actually looking for a police in the area to make a report but did not come across one in the immediate vicinity and I was not in the mood to spoil my vacation by going to the station . Avoid this...
Read moreI came here every single night for about a week, I stayed at a hotel a few blocks away so it was a consistent stop. Jordan, Justin, Victoria, Heath, Carlo, Jamie, Bo are all amazing individuals. Jordan has the cutest outfits and such a spunk to her it’s contagious in all the best ways. Justin is top dog in charge but man is he good conversation and made us feel safe while it was hectic outside, a genuine pleasure to be around. Victoria is the sweetest pea of a person but also a bad ass! Heath is the man for all talking- he will educate you on things you think you know but in the best way a conversation can go. Carlo is intelligent and knows all New Orleans, while Jamie is a baddie who makes a mean drink with the best jokes. Bo is the handsomest gentlemen here who gives his all to every customer. This place has character, spunk, and decently priced drinks. TIP YOUR BARTNEDERS BECAUSE THEY ARE...
Read moreI haven't been at this bar in over a decade, back when it was one of the French Quarter's gnarliest dives, The Hideout. Worst. Pool Table. Ever! But now, the pool table is no more - the back area now has a European-style "snug" back there with comfortable seats for intimate conversations. It's altogether much cleaner than it was, that's for sure... Corrine was our bartender and she's attentive and charming, drinks were reasonably priced (I paid $5 for a domestic beer in the bottle, and now they even have a doorman who was unfailingly polite and made sure to check every ID. Jukebox had a good eclectic mix and the music was loud enough to relax without being intrusive. With these pieces, I'm sure it draws a good locals crowd from the Service Industry to come in and decompress after a hectic shift, which makes it my...
