Where to begin.... Well the beginning would be good to start. Walking in it seems like a decent place to eat and cool off for a bit it. Well, turns out we were wrong. Our first greeting from the bartender who came to take our order didn't know the specials, drinks, or what beer were on tap. The menu is scattered and we got two different menus with only a few things off from one another. There were a total of 5 people in our party. Drinks Two of us ordered their Frozen Cherry Limeade (which came pure alcohol. Some may think that is a plus, but I in particular wasn't looking to drink straight alcohol). One of us ordered Stella on tap which turned out to be nice and cold, but also flat. With additional drinks we ordered Cokes which started out great, but eventually turned flat as the refills kept coming. Food In the group we ordered - The Club w/o mayo - Buffalo Wings (with side order of mac and cheese) - Chicken Tenders - Tacos (Taco Tuesday)(Comes with three tacos) - American Cheeseburger The food took a good bit of time to come out. All food items were brought out one by one slowly to the point each person was finishing their meal before another came out. First out for one meal were the wings which were actually pretty good, but a few did appear to be under cooked (which explained the weird taste for two or three of them) and no mac and cheese. By the time one finished his wing meal the tacos came out. The meat was dry (the little there was) with little to no flavor and full of mostly veggies. Next up came the Club sandwich (with mayo on it, even though we were told mayo doesn't come on it). Afterwords came the burger and chicken tenders together surprisingly enough. The tenders were good with nice breading. Coming to my burger the top bun was extra chard and missing the american cheese I asked for, but given we waited this long I wasn't going to mess around and send anything back in fear we could be sitting here even longer. Over time after all the food did arrive the mac and cheese was brought up to which our bartender/waitress didn't even place that order. After placing the order the mac and cheese was the fastest food item to exit from the kitchen. Once tasting it we found out why. It felt as if it were microwaved kraft with a few extra food bits thrown in to add flare. Overall Experience The overall experience for this place was not great what so ever. Our bartender/waitress lost our credit card when she claimed she just wanted it to add to "the file" for our ordering of food and drinks. Brought us someone else's visa card to ask us if it was ours and instead of asked for a name to continue her search she returned to keep looking. After assistance for someone else they finally found our card behind the bar somewhere. Our waitress/bartender appeared to be fixing drinks for herself after other people cleared out along with multiple smoke breaks and one shirt change (which seemed a little TMI that you're telling guest that you will be back to check on us after you change your shirt.) Before leaving we saw someone who appeared to be the manager or owner who we asked to speak to, but was told he was already gone. Our bartender/waitress stated that she was cleared to give up 25% off our tab to which we stated we were just trying to speak to the owner to voice our experience to which our bartender/waitress stated that she couldn't give more off the tab than that 25%. We explained it wasn't about taking anything off just wanted to voice concerns was all. So yes, in short not a good place to attend if you're looking for service.

My husband and I had a great afternoon watching the Vikings game at the American Sports Saloon Sunday!! We’ve never been in a facility to watch sports with more TV screens than they have! Room for everyone!! Even on balconies with a private screen for your game! Service was pleasant and accommodating even though they were swamped due to the Saints game at the same time! If you are in New Orleans for a sporting event it’s a must!!

Have to give these guys 5 stars for the service alone. We were on the hunt around the entire city to find somewhere that could play an English Premier League football/soccer game. Nowhere else had the game we wanted to watch on but this bar said they could find any game and put it on. They did this for us and even had the sound on. The waitress/bar lady was very friendly and helpful. A good selection of beer too. Thank you!

Here’s my experience if I could put a lower rating I would. Me and my girlfriend visited during the cowboys vs Seahawks game back in January. Our tab was $82.30 i had opened with my credit card. When I was brought my receipt to close out I told our waiter not to charge card I was going to pay out with cash. I gave him $100 dollars and said no change. He did a great job. Next morning when I checked my account I had a pending charge from the American sports saloon. Thinking there had been some kind of mistake I called them and spoke with a manager who assured me that the charge would not go thru. That there system would hold charge but would go thru since I had paid the tab with cash. Sure enough that Monday my card was charged the $82.30. When I called back again and spoke with a employee he took my information and said he would pass my Information to manager and have them look into it and that they would get back to me. A few days passed and heard nothing so I called again. When I got the manager on the phone I had to explain my whole situation again because he had no idea who I was or was aware of my situation. At this point I requested to speak to the owner. After a few days I was contacted the owner Jim via phone and explained everything. He was very friendly and understanding we exchanged information and emails and he reassured me that he would personally write me a check for reimbursement and apologized for any inconvenience. It is now April 4th as I type this and have yet to receive a check or hear any response from the owner or management. I have contacted New Orleans PD and have opened a case. So for all those looking to enjoy a sports bar in the heart of the French quarter. I would strongly advise to seek elsewhere because I wish I had. You have...

we went here for the 1st time to watch the Mayweather McGregor fight. we couldn't have chosen a better spot. it was set up perfectly like a private party, the bartenders were EXCELLENT, ENGAGING, FAST, ACCURATE AND FRIENDLY. There were tv's everywhere but the bathrooms, which stayed clean. The food was awesome. We ordered bbq wings. the wings were fried crispy with the bbq sauce being a slightly spicy flavor....delicious. the parmesan truffle fries were good also. we ordered popcorn which was okay. it was only a buck 50 so we tried it. lastly at the end of our five hour ordeal we ordered burgers. they were very delicious. meat was seasoned PERFECTLY. I wasn't a fan of the bun(huge) size but they taste great...EVERYTHING WAS HOT AND FRESH! we are fans of this awesome place now and will continue to patronize them. the manager made his rounds and introduced himself. very friendly guy. I was very impressed! and I'm also very...
