I stepped into Minnow jewelry bar with a warm welcome and an offering to answer any questions that I might have. I had broken the shank on one of my favorite rings a week prior to coming to New Orleans for work so I asked if it could be repaired and Candice was transparent with the process and challenges with this repair. That alone made me very confident and willing to have the ring repaired with them. She was comfortable with me sitting and watching her 20 plus years of experience make this ring whole again. I appreciated how she explained everything she did along the reasonings while she worked on it. Less than a month after this repair, the Tigers Eye stone finally broke and fell out from my lack of protecting it in my work environment. I returned the ring to her to have a stone reset and they found a perfect match and set it with precision. The shank was reinforced and detailed design was cleaned up with this repair. I needed a piece of permanent jewelry reattached (not purchased from this shop), and I was on a tight schedule running around during Mardi Gras. I called the shop while they were closed and to my surprise received a text response within a few minutes asking if I needed anything. I asked if they did repairs on jewelry not purchased at the shop, and not only was the answer yes but Candice offered to open early to accommodate me. Upon arriving I was met with so much kindness and warmth. Candice not only reattached my permanent bracelet, but she also helped me tighten two others AND helped me fix a ring that was driving me nuts. My entire experience was above and beyond on top of a lovely shop and absolutely gorgeous handmade pieces for sale. I could go on and on - truly my experience here is one I will never forget.
