Please bare with me this going to be long! Went here on a Sunday and OMG the service we encountered was HORRIBLE!! The wait wasn't bad but the actual service was ridiculous. (I'm about to give you the whole picture) We was seated at a table with booth seating and a chair. Once we was seated it took a min. for our waitress (Robin) to come to the table with the waters. Once she arrived she sat the waters down and said "I'll let yall look at the menus". She left which was absolutely no problem. When she returned we ordered a sweet tea & a pineapple mimosa. Keep in mind our food came BEFORE the 2 drinks. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with egg whites & hashbrowns with cheese. She ordered shrimp & grits with an order of beignets. Beignets were a little hard. She said the grits were too cheesy but the shrimp were amazing! Now on to this breakfast sandwich. That sandwich was so good until I realized they only put 2 pieces of bacon on that big sandwich with the amount eggs that came on it. I was really eating an egg sandwich because you didn't see the cheese either. Pissed off bc when I did bite into the sandwich it was good & hot before I realized it was only 2 pieces of bacon. That sandwich was $14 for eggs and bread. Then my hashbrown didn't have any cheese on it. So when I told my waitress about the hashbrowns she seemed like she was in a rush. I still wanted to ask about the extra bacon. So she was like "ok" oh but bae stopped her AGAIN to inform her that we didn't have our drinks. Her excuse was "I'm waiting on the bartender to come back". Now let me stop right here bc we watched her give drinks to 2 other tables before we had the encounter with her about the drinks. So the bartender left that quick. Ok w/e we just said ok, thanks bc she was getting the extra bacon and my hashbrowns. She finally brought the 2 drinks out to us. Alright now about 15 mins passed still no bacon or hashbrowns. So my bae asked a lady she seen in all black was she a supervisor. The lady stated "yes I'm the General Manager, my name is Raven". I explained everything to her and she was very polite. When I tell you that lady walked off and walked right back with my bacon and hashbrowns. So my food was ready that whole time. Those hashbrowns were HOT but it was more cheese than potatoes. The bacon was good. When we asked for the ticket it was like we was bothering her the way she rolled her eyes at us. Even the table to my right started shaking their heads bc they saw her attitude. She came dropped the card machine off on the table and left. Then asked us if we needed a receipt. I answered yes, she said well you can text it. We informed her that we wanted a paper receipt which took another $10 mins. I gave them a 2 star based off the experience. Service was horrible I probably would put 0 down if I could. The restaurant was clean and smelled good. Food was good, if it wasn't cold after all that waiting. Thank you Raven for listening to us when we did inform you of what took place. Also we did NOT bash our waitress to the G.M. we just expressed the food part to her.

My honest opinion our waitress was so busy trying to please the ppl here for Essence she neglected to serve the other ppl sitting in there. Granted we are locals but we go be here when the tourist leave. Don't treat us like our money not good. The same was those ppl will tip you we can...

I was trying to get in contact with the Cafe Fleur-De-Lis on Camp Street to change my reservation that someone at their restaurant made for me back in January, for an event I have in April.

After calling the restaurant for several weeks with no response or being constantly told to call at another time, I finally spoke to someone about changing my reservation time. The host said that they no longer take reservations since they've been so busy and due to policy changes. I explained that I already had a reservation that was made for me, and just needed to change the time. She once again said since they don't do reservations. I asked what would happen to reservations prior to the policy change, she said "I'm not sure, let me get my manager".

Spoke to a manager named Charles, he explained that they don't do reservations anymore. I told him that I had called the restaurant back in January, and the host on site made a reservation for me AND sent me a confirmation email via Resy (their reservation app). He said that they don't do reservations anymore, especially not on the weekend, and not sure why anyone even made my reservation. I told him I couldn't have made this reservation on my own since I have a group of 15, which most of the time you have to call the restaurant directly for groups of that size. I told him that no one informed me that they don't take reservations on the weekend when I made my reservation.

Long story short, Charles didn't show any attempt to honor my original reservation at the restaurant, said "maybe you can try the other location", and then said he was going to call me back. This happened almost two weeks ago and I never received a call back from anyone at the restaurant. There was no attempt to help me regarding my reservation, and didn't offer to even to see if their other location...

Our server Laushaune was amazing. She was so friendly and attentive. Each time we spoke with her it was like we were the only ones there. The Beignets are delicious. I certainly wanted more. My son and I had iced lattes, which were very well made. The flavored syrup was mostly at the bottom, just how I like it. Just a few stirs and I control the sweetness. That morning the City was in a water watch so they served cold bottled water for free. I thouggt this was excellent service. While waiting for our food I noticed how super fast the one person was at clearing and cleaning tables - did not get her name but she has pretty blue hair. She was like an eagle catching a fish. Swooping in and getting it done. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly all around. Now the food. Let me tell you about the Perfectly Poached eggs on the seafood bendict. They were sooo fluffy on the outside with warm runny yolk inside. Amazing! My wife, who hates everything, was impressed with the pancakes and bacon. Both of our kids wanted me to try their pancakes to see which I liked better. The Chocolate chip pancakes very. Good texture, nicely cooked and taste really good. The Banana peacan pancakes (Bourbon Street Breakfast) were the winner. The flavor was more complex and I really wanted another bite but I was too slow. Both kids got 6 strips of very crispy bacon. I love crispy bacon. Delicious! When we asked for To go boxes for the left over pancakes they came with syrup for pancakes!! We love this place. It is such a wonderful cafe. Café Fleur De Lis friendly hometown feel started with the greeting at the door for our wedding brunch, hosted in the second floor dining room. The Café did not hesitate to say yes to our group of 25. Damien, a terrific people person took care of our group with a little help from his fellow servers at delivery. The kitchen sent out all the orders timely and we all enjoyed a time of fellowship. The menu selections were New Orleans inspired and well thought out. Eggs Benedict were presented in five delicious dishes, including Oyster Benedict and my favorite Cochon De Lait Benedict a tasty roasted pork served with biscuit, grits or has browns. I was also impressed with the smooth sweet taste of the pancakes. Several in our group enjoyed small plate selections, including the avocado bowl with a very tasty dressing on the supporting salad. Several others bragged about their traditional egg breakfast variations. All of this was supported by coffee, juices and morning libations for the grown ups. If you have a business group or family group the Café staff will not disappoint. Five stars for food, staff service, location and atmosphere.

When you walk into the restaurant the decor is beautiful, from the chandeliers, wallpaper, plan and floor plan of the tables. Just beautiful neat , clean and colorful. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and as a resident he gave us some information about New Orleans things we could put on our list of places to visit. We were told that this restaurant had the best food in New Orleans, we were like ok we’ll see and we’ll let you know. We placed our orders and when the food came out EVERYTHING on our plates was hot. That’s a wonderful thing. A+ . When I tell you the cheese grits were soooo delicious, the spinach Benedict was so creamy and delicious. The shrimp and grits were delicious. Shrimp poboy excellent. We asked to see the chef to thank him and he came out to our table. He was so nice a thankful that we had gave such a compliment. He also brought out his cooks and we told them how much we loved what they had prepared. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again. Put this restaurant on the top of your list while visiting New Orlean's. (Your Welcome)❤️🫶🏽🙏🏾🔥💥 Thank you Joseph awesome waiter.
