Such a cool and convenient stop while shopping at the French Market! I was on a mission to find the best oysters in NOLA and so couldn't pass up seeing a bed of oysters on ice being shucked right in front of the market! The oysters had a clean taste to them, they didn't have that muck water taste, fresh in the open air of the French Market. Undoubtedly very fresh oysters straight from the dock, as advertised! It's a fantastic stop and go! Grab your fresh food from the sea, eat, and keep on shopping/sightseeing! No need to sight see on an empty stomach, right?!

This place is a MUST TRY in New Orleans! Fantastic creole food with fresh ingredients that tastes like it was made with love and passion. My go to dish I order is the oysters creole but I've also have their crawfish pie and crawfish beignets - all amazing! Whatever sauce they drizzle on their food is so delicious I wish I could bottle it up lol. The staff are friendly as always and my food comes in a timely manner. I love that there's also seats nearby to enjoy my meal. I can't WAIT to return here. 😋

Truly one of my worst dining experiences, and I am usually very patient. We waited over 45 min for a seafood quesadilla, a shrimp boat, and fried pickles. We were told it would be about 10 min. But others waiting told us it would be longer. After watching two orders that were placed after ours get filled, I asked about our order. At this point we had waited 30 min. I watched her fumble through the tickets, and she finally dug it out of a pile of tickets in a bucket. They had lost our order, and there was no apology offered. The lady taking orders was back and forth from the back to the front. There were several people coming and going from the back, but there appeared to be only one person preparing food. After another 15 min the seafood quesadilla was given to us. Parts of it were too charred to be eaten, and it was cold. They ran out of bread, so when the shrimp boat was given to us about 10 - 15 minutes later, there were about 6 small shrimp sitting on a bed of fries. The fried pickles came out at the same time - limp and soggy. We wasted our money on the worst customer service and mediocre food....

I wouldn’t recommend this place with a 5 foot pole. We got fried pickles, fried soft crab, fish tacos, and my bf ordered oysters. The pickles were what seemed to be days old. I ordered fish tacos but they gave me shrimp tacos. The shrimps were tiny and kinda chewy with no flavor other than kinda fishy. The fried soft crab looked like the display they had on the front counter. It was super greasy, salty and gross. My bf had a couple oysters said they were good but then got a rotten one and had to spit it out immediately!! I could smell the rotten oyster and I'm not sure how he was able to hold it together cause it smelt disgusting. He would not recommend going there for oysters. The staff wasn’t friendly at all. Very curt to those who had questions at the oyster bar. The lady taking the orders was in a hurry and irritated with those who were ordering. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Spent good money here...

The food was top notch. Nothing against the food whatsoever. However the female at the front register wearing the angel wings was extremely rude and disrespectful to my friends and I. We stood for about maybe one minute discussing what to order, then one member of my group ordered food. I was going to order next then the female tried to take someone else’s order before mine. Once all members of my group ordered, it took a very long time to get our fried pickles and 6 oysters. We went to the register to see how long and she was disrespectful saying we were giving attitudes meanwhile she cursed at us in front of about 10 customers. Her language was very disgusting and inappropriate. She treated us very poorly and we will...
