Where do I begin? This visit was perfect and worth it in every way. I wanted to take my aunt somewhere nice for a monumental birthday (her 60th) and I heard about Morrow Steak and decided to take us both here. I can not say enough about how great of a decision this was and how it was the perfect choice for her birthday dinner.😊
To start, both of the hostess were Grade A spectacular individuals and professionals! Daliyah & Kirsten are the perfect tandem to greet you as you walk in. Their energy is contagious, their professionalism is top tier, and their eagerness to help did not go unnoticed. They helped coordinate and orchestrate the delivery of gifts to my aunt for her birthday and were perfect in adding their own touches. Shout-out to both of them for sure. 👏🏽
We were then greeted by our waiter Nick who was just as awesome. He was helpful, informative, and patient through our entire experience. His suggestions were spot on and his recommendations were perfect for what we selected. I definitely suggest Nick to be your waiter if you should visit this restaurant. 👍🏽
Jerry the General Manager was not only patient, but helpful with a birthday request I had for my aunt. He oversaw the restaurant of course, but did so with an intentional and genuine spirit. You can tell her cares about your experience and your visit at the establishment. I am glad he was there to help impact her evening. 🙌🏽
HUGE SHOUT-OUT to Chefs Raynell & Paul. 🤜🏽🤛🏽MAN! I can write a dissertation on what we ordered and how delicious everything was. I ordered the 🐑 Lamb Chops, Seafood 🦞, Mac n Cheese, & Brussel Sprouts. My aunt had the Cowboy Ribeye Steak 🥩 & Loaded Baked Potato 🥔. We also ordered the Parker Bread 🍞 as well. She ordered an Old Fashion cocktail 🍸 and I had the Sweet Solei 🍹 drink, but I changed the Gin to Vodka. The food was AMAZING! I am not exaggerating. One customer reviewed and said it was the best lamb chops she has ever had and I can not agree more. They were BIG, tender, and seasoned well. Let me be clear, I HATE brussel sprouts and I LOVED the way they cooked their brussel sprouts. My aunt's steak was so tender that she cut through it with a butter knife 🔪 for the entire meal and didn't even need a steak knife. The seafood Mac n cheese was pretty good also. EVERYTHING was phenomenal, seasoned well, and satisfying. The portions were huge and worth it. The price matched the atmosphere, service, and food. That is VERY rare for high end restaurants.
I HIGHLY recommend, HIIIIIIIIIIGHLY recommend you bless your stomachs and mouths with an outing at this establishment because it is worth every dime. Do yourself a favor and stop in and bless your taste buds. You heard it...

If you’re searching for the ultimate dining experience in New Orleans, look no further than Morrow’s Steak Restaurant. In my 30 years of enjoying fine dining, never have I encountered a restaurant that so effortlessly blends culinary excellence with top-tier hospitality. This is not just a steakhouse; it’s a destination where every detail is meticulously curated to offer a memorable evening.
From the moment we stepped inside, the warmth and elegance of Morrow’s set the stage for an unforgettable night. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home, yet indulged.
Larry Morrow, the visionary owner, has truly outdone himself. His passion for creating a dining experience that resonates with his guests is evident in every aspect of the restaurant. Larry’s hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure that everything from the décor to the service is impeccable. His commitment to excellence is palpable, and it’s clear that Morrow’s is a labor of love.
The culinary genius behind the menu is none other than the executive chef. The steaks are, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection, each bite melts in your mouth, leaving you craving more. The quality of the meat, the seasoning, and the precise cooking techniques all speak to a chef who knows his craft inside and out. The sides and appetizers were equally outstanding, complementing the steaks without overshadowing them. This chef has truly mastered the art of creating dishes that are as satisfying as they are innovative.
Our evening was elevated even further by the exceptional hospitality provided by TJ, our hospitality experience executive. TJ’s professionalism and genuine care for our experience were evident from the start. He guided us through the menu with expertise, ensuring we made the best choices for our meal. His attentiveness, without being intrusive, added a personal touch that made us feel valued as guests. It’s rare to encounter someone in hospitality who so seamlessly combines warmth and efficiency, but TJ does it effortlessly.
In conclusion, Morrow’s Steak Restaurant is a gem in New Orleans, a place where extraordinary food and outstanding service come together to create an experience unlike any other. Larry Morrow, his executive chef, and TJ have set a new standard in dining, and I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you’re in New Orleans and looking for an unforgettable meal, Morrow’s is the...
Read moreThis review would be extremely long if I pointed out everything. So I’ll say this, 12:00 reservations on a Sunday, I got SEVERAL items including the porterhouse twice and flaming tomahawk , the waiter began dispersing my food without even checking to see if I wanted to share, because just cause someone orders doesn’t mean they’re automatically for the entire table. Um, my food was wildly burnt, and I do mean my marrow was charred so bad . So much was wrong, and I am LIVID. Because let’s face it, over $1400 bucks for not even grade A steak, weird management and lackadaisical, UNKNOWLEDAGLE STAFF AT A STEAKHOUSE IS A HARD NO FOR ME!!! I have photos but I don’t aim to tear down a black business owner. But this was horrid, and I have proof of everything I’m saying. Do better. I’ve never had such horrid food and service at an “upscale steakhouse “, especially when I have to pay AUTOMATIC GRATUITY OF 189 dollars to a server who gave all of my filet mignon side of my porterhouse to the table when I’d specified that I wanted that side, then I saw him giving it out and tried to stop him. He claimed he knew which was which and definitely me being a chef, I wasn’t gonna cause a scene. But after I said you left me with the part I hate, the New York strip part, he says oh, I think you’re right lol. Smh. And in MY experience, the managers don’t truly care about making anything right so I’ll never be back, just be careful here. I’d take my business elsewhere tho. My drink with the flower was good. Even the wagyu tacos were the worst beef I’ve ever had, I’ve literally had better beef inside of hamburger helper! Seafood Mac and regular Mac and so many other overpriced items with NOT A LICK OF SEASONING!!!!! No flavor! One of the lobster tails was bad. I’m talking mushy beyond measure! My head has hurt every time I think of the money I chose to spend here, and got the service and food that was so awful. No greeting, not busy in the least. This was beyond deplorable to say the least! And again, managers will pretend to care, but they don’t. Their only aim is to get you to order more. If you had a good experience good for you. I wish it...
