Only came in to grab some cigarettes out of the machine they have in there but didn't have the correct change. Instead of helping me in any way, the bartender said I needed ID for change at the Bar. (Which is to be expected ANYWHERE downtown so I understood but was confused because I only asked for change) but I asked if I could use my LA wallet and he was rude to begin with but said no and continued to be overly aggressive and calling names, putting me out of the bar. But seeing from one of the reviews This Owner stands by it's staff no matter how they treat people. The issue is not the policy or rules of the establishment, it was the way I was treated for no reason at all. Have never eaten or spent a dollar here but never will and all of the customers in there when I came back after work to speak with a manager he said he is the manager and continued to be aggressive towards a female and go off Infront of everyone at the bar. Would love to get the contact information of the owner or manager overtop of him since I could not get it tonight. For a bar in New Orleans and fellow service industry worker I just expected a little more humanity rather than be treated as if I came in as a problem. Long review but worth it for the disrespect hope something is done but well wishing 🤦🤷 Oh and some lady came out towards the end with a drink in her hand saying I need to leave. I asked if she even worked there she said yes but I was already on my way out the door and didn't have time for anything else that obviously wasn't a...

I rounded the corner to return to my hotel when I heard the dull roar of chatter and some disco song... I thought "Well it's your last night in NO, better make the best of it." I entered the bar and proceeded to the back where I discovered an old friend. Not a person, but a bunch of people all tucked away in this vintage Jukebox. For hours I played hits of yesteryear while my new best friend Kevis made delicious drinks with horrible names. It was the perfect evening to end an awesome trip. I highly recommend this friendly...
Read moreVic's has the friendliest bartenders. No frills or thirlls. Be smart and cool, you'll have a good time. Meet locals and neighbors. I've lived here 2 years, work in the area, and have always loved hanging out in a local bar that provides good vibes, friendly service, and folks with more than the average amount of common sense. I can't consider myself a local, however they are very welcoming to newcomers and service industry folks. Can't recommend the place enough for people who want to meet genuine and friendly staff who will treat you with respect if you give it....
