Bartley Dunnes — Restaurant in New York

The Raspberry Beret was great, but the bartender-recommended Salt Bae Cafe was absolutely delicious! My brother and I ended up getting two each, and the chocolaty, Espresso flavor made the cocktail taste amazing.

The bar itself has few reviews as of writing, so we thought it might be newer. Happy to add another positive opinion of Bartley Dunnes to their reputation. The service was attentive, despite the place being relatively busy during a Thursday night near Times Square.

I also had a glass of Guinness on draught, and it tasted so good and creamy! Happy to see they also had Smithwicks on tap, as well.

The bar is small, but accommodating with tables for groups. We did not use the restroom while visiting, so I can't comment on its maintenance. Drinks are expensive generally, especially in Times Square, so plan accordingly. Both the Raspberry Beret and the Salt Bae Cafe were $18 each, and the Guinness was $10, to give you an idea of what you're likely to pay.

Overall, if you're in Times Square, I can wholeheartedly recommend Bartley Dunnes for a night out, and especially their Salt Bae Cafe!

Mediocre service. Tried to turn me away bc I was late but the train line is on delay so that caused it ; ended up sitting me and telling me I only had a certain time ; I asked to sit at the bar ; the bar was not full. I would not recommend this place for the hideaway experience bc of the food. Fake crab in the crab cake the steak kabobs tasted like rubber honestly! The $30 unlimited drinks is ok but yes just OK! Will not be returning I’m a blogger and opted out of recording. I don’t mind tipping either but really think places should reconsider automatic tips if that make the staff lax and not attentive. I had to call and flag my server down anytime I wanted something while seated at the bar (he never left ). Great concept not so great service. Reached out to hold my birthday event here after seeing it on Tik Tok and Instagram. I spoke to one manager and was told I would have to put a deposit down. I told her okay, I will reach back out in a couple days with an exact headcount so that I could put the correct deposit down, but to still be aware of my reservation, she agreed. I reached back out a couple days later and was told by another manager that the deal I was previously offered would not be available anymore (would have to pay more) and that there was no space available for my group anymore. I frantically called this place 5 times, trying to get in touch with the managers, each time it was “they will call you back in 15 minutes” or “they are in a meeting” and I never received a call back.
