Birria Landia UWS — Restaurant in New York

I like how low key this area is! I’m so use to going to Jackson Heights or Williamsburg and having to wait a while for my order to be called. I do wish that they had more of a variety of sodas and/or snapple instead of just thier Mexican soda. I also was a bit annoyed that I said no red sauce in my tacos and I still got it! I know it could be a common mistake but it’s a bit annoying if you’re being asked twice and still get the order wrong! Hopefully for my next time I will have a correct order! Also I did enjoy the mulita but I asked for it to be well done and it came apart right when I went to take to...

I've had good birria, and I've had bad birria; unfortunately, this was one of the worst birria tacos I have had. There's definitely a lot of hype around this place but I was not impressed with their birria meat. The meat was extremely unflavored and had to rely heavily on the consume to bring any flavor to it. But, I even thought that was quite flavorless. It felt very watered down. I wouldn't try this again, but hope they can add more flavor to their tacos...

These tacos are terrible. They are drenched in grease and breaks apart in your hand from how wet and sloppy it is. The food looks like it was just tossed in the soaked shell. Not only that, but it was so sloppy and greasy that my stomach is in so much pain now a few hours later.

The Birria-Landia truck on Houston and Bowery has the best tacos I have ever had. They make it perfectly crispy every time and the flavors are perfect! I see why they earned those...
