For Owner of the Bar: Please be aware of the service of the night bartender with a pony tail larger build (Group of several ppl coming to celebrate bday party June 7th 10:00 to midnight). Please help this person getting professional mental health services, as there is clearly something not right or suffering in their life.

Treatment to other staff: Yelling aggressively towards the kind server with glasses broke my heart. Treatment to customers: Multiple members of our party felt extremely uncomfortable by the way we were treated. • Rolling his eyes when one of us was ordering a non-alcoholic drink • Passively aggressively when I asked casually just making conversation how the non-alcoholic drinks are and if they have anything cool in them like ashwaganda. Incredulously looking at me aggressively asking what I’m talking about, then I saying oh nvm I was just making conversation, then responding it’s on the bottle bringing the bottle turning it to me and reading the back in passive aggressive way as someone talking to a child. • Girls in our group using photo mirror having fun, being approached loudly sarcastically telling them they’re doing it wrong and aggressively ordering them to step on the X was uncomfortable. • Making another member of our group extremely uncomfortable when asking for drinks

Stepped into this corner bar on a cold fall evening just to warm up a bit before finishing my walk home. 5 minutes after sitting down I realized this was my kind of spot. The atmosphere and lighting were perfect. Dark but still comfortable. I got cozy with my drink, then noticed food coming out of the kitchen and it was too tempting. I ordered the oysters and was not disappointed! And the hot sauce they were paired with was so tasty I tried to buy a bottle from the bartender before I left. So happy I found this place, the staff were genuinely friendly and fun to be around(this normally isn’t the case for a cocktail bar in nyc). I love hanging out here! The vibe is friendly, cozy and chill. Nice place to stop by for a drink before or after a dinner but also a great place to sit down for a happy hour beer and oops! end up staying all night and eating here instead. The whole staff is great and will take good care of you. Special shout out to Reynolds, who really sets the tone with his genuine warmth and ability to make everyone feel welcome and safe.

I would also highly recommend this space for events, group hangs, birthdays, etc. I once participated in a watermelon carving contest and had so much fun and destroyed 2 watermelons in the process and my art was NOT pretty. But, damn. Good time. :) Go meet some...
