We have dined here before, the experience has been very good. Tonight took the cake. It brought 5 star dining experience to a low level Due to unforeseen circumstances, we ran late. We called to notify the restaurant. The response was cold. We were hold we had a time limit 2, At hostess station, we received an even colder reception. Our table was given away and we were seated in the overflow on a wobbly table, We were not asked if we wanted our fur coats to be hung up, At our table my coat fell to the floor, the waiter kindly took it to coat check which was kind of him. Service at the beginning was friendly and attentive, 4.I ordered onion soup and a salad as an appetizer. They arrived at the same time. The waiter did not ask if I wanted the salad or soup first. We were not asked if we wanted wine or other with our dinner, We had a dry dinner. When our dinner arrived, our waiter did not describe what was on the plate, what we thought was a white sauce with tomato sauce was pureed potatoes surrounded by tomato ? After the waiter received our order there was no communication with the staff, the staff was eager to get us out, A waiiter presented the dessert menu, standing at our table until we ordered . I asked for water. It never came. Crème of all Crème….still in shock!!!!! The two young unprofessional hostesses both went to the coat check which was concealed by a two way curtain to retrieve the fur coat, We waited for at least 5 minutes. What you read next will SHOCK you……… They were giggling as they were taking photos while wearing my coat. The gull, tenacity to do this!!!! We were both stunned by what happened that we were speechless. We tried to reach out to management, but they were not available, I have never written a negative review...

We are in NYC for my wife's very special birthday meeting family and we wanted to be sure that we could get a table at the Speakeasy bar otherwise we would not have made the journey across town. I called three times before and was given the same advice that even if a table was not immediately available we would be almost certainly seated within 30 minutes. As soon as we arrived at 5.15 it was obvious that we had been misled. There were many tables with reserved signs on them apparently for hotel guests. We sat in the lounge area, ordered a drink after being told again that the table again would most probably become available. An hour later we asked to speak to Adam, the manager, but unfortunately he did not possess the basic courtesy to come and speak to us. We felt disppointed, angry and frustrated in the way in which we had been handled. It's pretty obvious from what we observed that this is an ongoing problem and that the management simply cannot be...

This review is for the pre-fixe menu offered on Thanksgiving Day. We had a reservation for 2pm for 4 people and every element of the meal from service to food to ambiance was fantastic. We ordered and shared the hamachi crudo, the Hudson Vallery seared foie gras, the butter lettuce salad and for mains the turkey which was phenomenal and one of our friends ordered the beef filet with green peppercorn sauce which was SUBLIME (I am coming back for that very soon!). We ordered all the desserts and especially loved the Chocolate Hazelnut Bombe. There is also a stunning bar in the hotel that was not open that day but the manager gave us a tour - also worth coming back for a cocktail in that...

One of NYC’s most beautiful bars located behind a sliding door in the lobby of @fouquets.newyork is Titsou Bar. The design is stunning & it’s the perfect vibe for a drinks date night. Once you finish your drinks head to either of their delicious restaurants- Par Ici Cafe for a more casual cafe vibe or Brasserie Fouquet’s for a fancier dinner! Definitely add this gorgeous spot to your list! #nycbars #nycdatenight #nychotels #nycdating #cocktails #cocktailbar #newyorkcity #drinks #datenight #tribeca #nyccocktails #foodiesinternationalchat #globaleats
