While visiting the area a heat wave hit NYC. We have been multiple times and had never walked the Brooklyn Bridge. On this visit nothing was going to stop us. So in the blistering heat we started our trek across the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge. About half way across we ran out of water but kept on into Dumbo for that iconic picture but first we stopped at the Brooklyn Bridge Bistro!! We immediately ordered water and wings for the table. We immediately downed those cups of water. When we explained to the waiter that we would need lots more ice and water and that we would top well for the service they heard us loud and clear. The service and care they displayed was above and beyond! They even refilled out yetis with ice and water for our way back. My daughter also developed a blister and they had a bandage for her. If we weren’t so sweaty I would have hugged them all. But we gave them a loud thank you sooo much in our way out! They food was amazing! The service top notch and they left us with an amazing memory!!! Thank you again guys! We appreciate you! Lots of love from Canada!

I was looking for a place for breakfast before I started my trek over the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan. I came across the Brooklyn Bridge Bistro. It’s conveniently located at the foot of the Bridge on the Brooklyn side. The decor is very nice and different. Now, the waitress was very sweet and kind. I ordered eggs over easy and home fries with chorizo. It took awhile for a simple plate as such to come out. The eggs came out over well done. And the chorizo was cold and a bit tough. The home fries were pretty good and my white toast was a tad hard. For the price you pay and the amount of food you get, doesn’t seem like a good deal. But I will say the OJ was ice cold and pretty good. I can’t speak about anything else on the menu, but I can think of a lot of other places in downtown Brooklyn for a much better breakfast. It was ok, but not for what you pay for.

An unforgettable experience awaits at Brooklyn Bridge Bistro, and it all starts with their iconic burger. The moment I sunk my teeth into their perfectly grilled creation, I knew I had discovered something truly special. The blend of premium ingredients, from the juicy, succulent patty to the fresh, locally sourced toppings, is a testament to their dedication to culinary excellence. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, leaving a lasting impression that lingers on your taste buds. The cozy ambiance and attentive staff complete the picture, making every visit a culinary journey worth savoring. If you're a burger aficionado seeking a genuine and exceptional dining adventure, Brooklyn Bridge Bistro is the undisputed destination.

Terrible. From the customer service to the food. Ordered coffee and desserts with some friends after walking the bridge. They had no milk substitutions for the coffee (shocked for NYC), I ordered a lava cake that was given to me burnt. It was so dry and burnt on the top and the, what was supposed to be a warm gooey chocolate was burnt and could hardly be scrapped off the plate! My friends didn’t believe how terrible it was until they tried it as well.

When I told the waitress (who cared less about serving us out the gate), I didn’t want it and asked her to remove it from my bill.. she just gave a glared at me and took it away. No “I’m so sorry”, or even and ounce of effort to make it right!!

The cheesecake that was ordered was NOT NY traditional cheesecake, try Sara Lee frozen, that still needed to be thawed more, it was still partially frozen..

The chocolate croissant tasted like mayonnaise, another friend suspected the butter used was bad..

When we got our bill, the lava cake was not removed and got more “l could care less” attidude so when I asked to speak the the manager she finally got it removed but it wasn’t without more eye rolling.

(By the way, tables of 1-4 get an automatic 18%, tip, yep!)

After an amazing weekend in NYC we were shocked at the terrible customer service and food quality. If you get served by a tall blonde with super long hair, she gives zero Fs.

This was an evening shift about an hour before closing, so may be they have better servers and quality control in the morning, but I would never go back.

I have NEVER sent back food and requested it to be removed from my bill before, let alone leave a terrible review for a restaurant, I was and am so put off!

Save your $14 and order from Dominos, because I’m pretty sure it’s the same brand, but will at least be delicious...

I usually come to this place with my boyfriend and the food used to be amazing. We took my mother-in-law here for mother's day dinner and the food was absolutely terrible. My boyfriend's sister got a dry burger with burnt, blackened bread, his chicken sandwich was not good. My mother in laws chicken sandwich also wasn't good so she got steak instead with fries. The steak made her sick when we got home! My smoked mozzarella sandwich was not the same as it originally used to be. It used to be made with fresh mozerella and pesto mayo sauce and now the pesto they gave is pure oil seasoned with some type of pesto seasoning and the mozzarella looked dry and not fresh. The baguette wasn't even toasted or seasoned, just cold, plain baguette with the weird pesto oil and dried mozzarella.

This place is clearly under new management as even the designs have been changed and ruined with stickers of surfing fruit on the walls and a large sign inside that says "Sticky Tiki" with a tiki icon, yet the windows and menu still say Brooklyn Bridge Diner. It seems this new management is transitioning to their new restaurant but using the old menu that they don't know how to cook because every meal tastes like the dollar-store version of what it originally was.

We won't be going back, sad to say, as it seems our beloved Brooklyn Bridge Diner doesn't...

We were feeling hungry and wanted a spot to eat, our friend told us Brooklin Bridge Cafe is the only option, so we went in. We got seated which was very nice and quick. We all wanted pizza so we all got pizza. I got one cheese pizza for me and my sister to share. My aunt got a veggie pizza, and my mom got the same. My sister and I got our pizza and let me tell you it was BURNT LIKE THE SARHARA DESERT. On the bottom it was totally burnt. We told the server and he said to flip each slice to see if it was burnt which is dumb cause he didn't believe us. He also told us to flip the veggie pizzas(which were good) and he said “Okay I will go check with the chef.” Honestly our appetite was ruined and we had to leave, so we just canceled it. We told him and he said Thats fine but we are going to charge you still. We were confused as it was burnt. He said because you guys ate half of the pizza. There was 8 pizza slices and me and my sister only ate one, so we only ate two slices. I'm pretty sure that wasn't half according to math, which he couldn't do. We told him bad service and he said sorry can't do anything about it and just left. We were so mad we payed and left. The server had black curly hair with glasses. This restaurant needs to have employees with better attitude and math knowledge. NEVER...
