Me and my friend walked in and the lights were literally so bright they almost blinded us. Kind of odd for a bar but we let it go.As soon as we walk we get dirty looks from everyone in the bar, but luckily in we see our friends and start talking to them while standing beside their table. Two men ask us to move to the side because they’re playing pool, so we do. Since our 4 friends were seated at a 4 person table in the back, we looked for some chairs so we could join them. We asked this guy if we could borrow two chairs next to him and he said sure. After taking the chairs some old woman (later found out this is the owner) runs up and grabs one chair from my friend. As I’m about to sit down, she rudely grabs my chair right as I’m about to sit in it, almost causing me to fall to the ground. The guy by the wall tells us she’s just like this and the chair are “blocking the bathroom”. This was our last straw. She could have easily asked us to move the chairs away from the path of bathroom but she instead decided to push past us and snatch them right from our hands.Since there was no where for us to sit or stand where we could talk to our friends, we decided to leave. Overall worst bar experience I’ve had in the city, definitely...

On 6/18/21, My husband and I showed up for our reservation at Caribbean Social prior to attending Earthquake's Comedy Father's Day Show at King's Theater. I chose this restaurant because I saw good reviews and it was in close proximity to our venue. I regret my decision.

The ambiance and décor is beautiful and intimate. The waitress was friendly. On the contrary, service was horrible!

To begin, the menu in the restaurant is different from the menu I see on line. Anyway, we ate our appetizer, honey garlic wings, which were good, then proceeded to order our entrées. My husband asked for Oxtails and was told told they did not have any. He already wanted to leave. I asked for two types of salmon and was told they did not have any. I asked the waitress to give me a few minutes to review the menu one last time. I then asked for filet mignon and was told they did not have any.

We ended up eating more honey garlic wings and two jerk skewers that we flushed with two Caribbean rum punches. We only stayed because we were early for our event and close to the theater. We will never visit this establishment again nor do we...
