This is our new go-to Mexican restaurant for food that hits the spot and serves well made drinks. We visited Cielito a couple of weeks ago and ordered the bistec and shrimp tacos and our taste buds thanked us for it! We have also ordered the nachos the last four times we've been here, and we have not been disappointed. They were crispy, flavorful and loaded. Our margaritas were really good too and were not attenuated like in some other establishments we have been too. It is worth mentioning that the last time we were there a group was celebrating a birthday, and the staff were so authentically cheery when they brought out desert with a sparking candle and a beautiful mariachi hat for the birthday girl, that the good vibes and positive energy was catching. Everyone in the place stopped to sing and clap along too. The joyous moment was a bonus! Overall, we have had a fun and delicious experience every time we have visited Cielito, from good food and drinks to attentive and friendly staff, that we look forward...

We were undecided where to go for dinner in Astoria since it was a birthday dinner and must I say, Cielito IS THE PLACE TO GO!

From the moment, I called to see if they accepted reservation on a Saturday and letting them know that it was for a birthday dinner, to meeting our waitress Cony, the service that Cielito provided is UNMATCHED. The food was heavenly (I can see why it’s called Cielito), the drinks were delicious, and the service we received from Cony, Salvador, the bartender (unfortunately we didn’t get his name) and even the cook Daniel was exceptional. Please don’t ever replace Daniel! lol Cielito overall was 100/10, the place is beautiful, vibey, and chill.

Everyone there was so welcoming, positive, and attentive.

This was my second time and now it will definitely be my go-to spot! They made this dinner a beautiful experience! I hope the owner reads this to they can acknowledge the exceptional service Cony, Salvador, Daniel, the bartender and everyone else at Cielito provided. Best...

Random Sunday night date night. I been wanting to try this place. The nachos and white sangria was realllly good. Couldn't stop sipping it and I'm not even a drinker. One glass got me wavy too. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Nachos were super good. So I ordered the chicken tikka quesadilla. That item is no longer served and they need to update their menu. I really wanted a quesadilla and I asked if there's other types of sauces they can put with the chicken he said some sort of red or green sauce. I opted for green. It was good but very wettish chicken, very mushed and almost puréed. It was alright but ate it anyway. The birria taco that bae had was really good. That's what I should get next time. Nice vibes all around. We sat outside and enjoyed the...

Each year, Americans celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (9/15 - 10/15) by appreciating the community’s history, heritage, & contributions, & one way in which they do this is by supporting all of NYC’s delicious Hispanic-owned restaurants! 🍽️ These four are must-visits on any ordinary day, but especially during Hispanic Heritage Month! 😍 And you can find some more of our favs at the link in our bio! 👆 📍El Guayaquileno Truck, 94-54 Corona Ave. 📍@cielito_astoria, 33-02 36 Ave. 📍@puertoplataseafood, 391 Arlington Ave. 📍@mipequenoelsalvador, 94-16 37 Ave. #mysecretnyc #hispanicheritagemonth #hispanicrestaurants #nycfoodie 🎥: @amorraytravels
