Dive Bar LIC — Restaurant in New York

Giving this place a 1 star due to customer service on behalf of bouncers/hostess and the reservation system. Lady who sits people at their designated place is simply rude, no communication skills, not friendly and will continuously remind you your on a time limit. I had made a reservation for 9 people and was told I would need to purchase a birthday package which I was totally ok with. Upon my arrival Hostess lady seemed to not even have a clue there was a reservation under my name. As my party had arrived they were not let in for several minutes outside as if they didn't have a reservation, yet this women had the audacity to say I had been sitting down at the table for too long. Yet I was spending money on food buying drinks as well as the other people in my party. I am totally ok with time limits but if I'm spending money and had been told this before my reservation there wouldn't be an issue. Right when I'm about to order the birthday package I had agreed with the manager of this place, the server informs us there is no birthday packages on Fight nights. WTFFF? so I spent all this money on a place that couldn't live up to their promises? Just want to make it clear that our server was very lovely, understanding and great! I’m usually not one to leave reviews ever but I am very disappointed with the service provided here. Very rude, particularly the bouncer outside. We got there (4 of us) and the bouncer told us there was about a 40 minute wait. We decided to wait, where we were asked to wait outside on a line. After about 30 minutes of waiting, a group of 3 individuals approaches the door and talks to the bouncer. The bouncer is letting them know that they have to wait in line and that we have been waiting a long time. A conversation was had and then the bouncer tells them to hold on. He comes back and tells the other group they can come in, meanwhile he had us waiting 30 whole minutes outside in the cold!! I asked the bouncer why they got to go inside when we’ve been waiting first and he responded very rudely stating they’re a group of 3 people and they have seats for 3 on a table unless one of of us wants to be standing up all night. First of all, if a table can accommodate 3 people, it can accommodate 4 as well. Because of how rude he was, we decided not to stay and it was an overall waste of our time! Never coming back if that’s how customers are treated...
