Concern Regarding Unprofessional Conduct at Denzel Dion Event – September 12, 2025 I am writing to express my disappointment with the way I was treated at the Denzel Dion event on September 12, 2025. Upon arrival, I was denied entry without any explanation. When I politely inquired about the reason, I was told, "Because I said so, and I’m not going back and forth with you." This response was both unprofessional and surprising, especially considering how calm and respectful I was during the interaction. When I asked to speak with someone in a higher position, the individual instead instructed security to physically remove us. One of the security guards began yelling at us to "get out," which was completely unnecessary and aggressive. As a queer Black individual attending an event that is meant to celebrate and uplift the queer Black community, I found the experience deeply upsetting. I would not feel comfortable returning if this is representative of how customers are treated at this establishment. I sincerely hope that in the future, better training and accountability can be put in place to ensure all guests are treated with the respect and dignity...

I’m very unhappy with my experience here. The hostess was extremely aggressive and refused to let a guest into the establishment without providing a valid reason. When we asked for an explanation as to why a plus-one was denied entry, she demanded that security physically remove us. This occurred at the Denzel Dion event on September 12th, 2025.
