Update February 2025: Came for the pink pier! Beautiful and sweet experience. They do need to install more heaters, though , especially in the photo op places... it's freezing and so not comfortable 🥶 the hot rose petal drink was very pleasant loved the Atlantic salmon -The tomatoe bisque with grilled cheese was very pleasant mac and cheese was delicious! Definitely recommend -i wasn't a fan of the burrata salad... to much happening in their, it was overwhelming for me... the two cocktails were way too sweet, not a fan.
Original review: Very nice and unique experience. Great vibes! Definitely recommend. I came here after Christmas on a Saturday in January , but I still loved all the decorations. Great atmosphere and ambiance. 🦋 The food was delicious! My favorite was the mac and cheese in a waffle cone appetizer. Highly recommend!
🦋 the Spanish wine bottle was a bit bitter for my liking. 🦋the salmon was delicious. 🦋my partner got the burger & it was average , nothing special. 🦋hot chocolate was delicious! 🦋the smores package was a large quantity and it was great ! Definitely recommend.
🦋the room where we ate and drank had its own space heater. That was very nice. 🦋outside of the eating/drinking room, it was freezing! It would be nice for the future if they could incorporate those outside heat lamps. It would make the experience so much more pleasant.
🦋Some of the staff here were completely clueless or had a language barrier or something. I asked them simple questions about what this place offered that i saw online and all, and their answer was "I don't know" and so on... 🦋the bathroom was in a very inconvenient location outside of the restaurant and experience. Definitely...
Read moreWatermark was a super cute holiday experience! However, I’m torn between leaving a 3 or 4 star here. We were a big party of 7 people - attending as a family together to celebrate the holidays at this fun pop up. We encountered a few issues with being over charged on items that were substitutes versus additional orders as an entree/xl side. To note - I do appreciate the company running the pop up as they understood the error in charges and reimbursed us for the mistake the following week. It was difficult to settle the situation at the pop up itself due to the staff not being available. We also were guaranteed free cookies and milk for the kids when we first sat down - we had to chase the staff for this as we never received it for my niece and nephew throughout our entire seating time. It’s a bit confusing but you are charged a 20% fee for buying tickets/booking a table as your entrance. You are technically tipping 40% for your entire experience with food and entrance combined. I don’t have an issue with the 20% gratuity on the meal as we were a larger party and given the pop up, but it was odd that we were charged that for the table/entrance booking. On the brighter side of things - I personally LOVED the ornamentini. That drink was a highlight for me given the cup it was served it. I also had the mulled wine which I loved. I ended the night with a spiked cider with whiskey - it was a good way to end the night. Overall, rating is 3-4 stars. I would go again just for drinks to hang out with friends in the bar area or by the view...
Read moreTricky tricky tricky! I arrived to Watermark with high expectations since dining in the area has a bar set pretty high. Cocktails were nice and service was fast paced (which is to expect at a place with a view like this on a beautiful day.) Salad was simple yet tasty as well as the tacos. This all adds up to four stars. Sadly two stars went missing due to the lack of interest of the host team. As I arrived, I stood by the host stand for two minutes as I waited for the hosts to finish their personal conversation; one of them turned when I said “Hi!” And turned back to continue speaking with her colleagues. (I was running to get to my reservation on time since this spot has a maximum table time policy which I had agreed to upon reservation. Coulda walked.) As we left, my partner and I said bye and good night and got some crickets for desert curtesy of the host staff, tangled on yet another amazing story. I worked for the industry for ten years, and I know that it sucks when you want to speak to your colleagues and simply can’t. But that’s it management, hate how I sound writing this, but sometimes workers simply gotta work. More when there’s wild critics all over a city like this, ready to try some places that look exciting. Sometimes it doesn’t matter if food is delicious, in this town we pay fairly for experiences and after that greeting, anything seemed over priced to be honest. I don’t think I’ll come back but the place is really cute and the surf highlights are really welcoming to the ocean vibes. Amazing view and very...
