My first time visiting a Coffee Project and I loved it. As an Aussie I was stoked to find that they have lamingtons, and great ones at that. The coffee was one of the best I've had in NYC, definitely up to the standard I'm used to back in Sydney. I was very happy that the flat white I ordered was an actual flat white - served in a ceramic mug, about the size of a cappuccino but with a very thin layer of foam. In the US, it seems flat whites are often very small and served in glasses (ouch, hot), which I think I can safely say is incorrect since the flat white was invented in Australia. My barista was friendly and the atmosphere is very sleek and modern. There are some tables but you might have to wait a little while if you're looking to sit.

We were in NYC for New Year's and wanted to try different coffee spots. Everything that we ordered at Coffee Project was excellent! The barista was informative and very patiently helped me make the correct coffee choices. I also had a chive/cream cheese danish and while I've never considered myself a savory pastry type the danish was wonderful. We will definitely make a return visit next time we are in town. Highly recommend!

If i could give this place 6 stars I would. The coffee is wonderful, as are their non-coffee drinks (matcha, pandan lattes). There's wifi and clean toilets at this location. The best part of this shop is by far the staff. They often give me free stamps on my stamp card, let me use my own takeout mug and (the rare time I've brought my dog) given treats to my dog. I'm proud to call myself a regular! This place ROCKS.

A co-worker recently introduced me to Coffee Project, and I was thoroughly impressed. The small setup has a cozy vibe, but what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, providing detailed insights into each coffee bean they offer.

I opted for a pour-over and the name escapes me—but it was one of the most fascinating coffees I’ve ever tasted. It had a lovely melon flavor with a natural sweetness that was simply phenomenal. I also tried their mushroom croissant, which was delicious! I think it would have been a perfect 10/10 if it had been served warm, but I’d still happily order it again.

With such outstanding customer service and a diverse drink selection, I can’t...

A latte from the Coffee Project has been my self-care sacrament for almost a year. At first, I scolded myself for such indulgence, but now it feels like a needed balm. The coffee is legit delicious, but it's the 3-5 minutes of grace and goodness created by the staff that feels remarkable. It's like a trip back in time to a New York before cellphones, when we took a minute to interact with human beings. I walk out the door bathed in kindness and armed with creamy caffeine. Good luck getting...
