We’re from Denver, and this does not exist in Denver. We had our first Jian Bing in Portland years ago, and had to take the opportunity to eat it again but in NY! The food was exquisite and hit the spot, especially for a quick breakfast meal. We got the #5 and #8. The #8 tasted like a Vietnamese Bun Bo Hue noodle bowl but in a crunchy omelette. So delicious. My boyfriend accidentally dropped his fresh jian bing on the floor. I went to go pay for a new one. The owner was so kind to not charge us, even after I insisted and tried to tip again, he refused. I got the original and added egg and pork floss~ there are lots of other options you can choose to add! There are also combos that you can choose from as well. Don’t skip out on the red bean porridge, it’s literally the perfect amount of sweetness (not too sweet)! The owner was so kind and explained to us how to order. It’s a good lunch or snack without making you feel gross, and the owner was very kind and switched gloves when I asked since I didn’t want any cross contamination with any of the meats.
