EuroOptica™ Upper East Side — Local services in New York

I had previously used the Columbus Ave location for EuroOptica, but this was my first visit to their new Upper East Side location. First, the store itself is gorgeous--beautifully laid out and, of course, stocked with some of the finest eyeglass frames you will find anywhere. That said, what really makes EuroOptica stand out is their people. True professionals who have a passion for what they do and who treat their customers with great respect.

For my current visit, I was interested first in updating my prescription, which was more than a year old. I had not previously had an eye exam at EuroOptica and was extraordinarily impressed. They used the most current digital technology from Digital Optometrics along with the appropriate human touch (which is clearer, 1 or 2, and so forth). My optical technician, Emily, was superb. She called in advance to confirm the appointment and patiently ran me through the entire exam, including a Zoom conference with a remote DO. The exam was very competitively priced at $125, which I could then apply toward the purchase of new glasses, which made it essentially free. Emily then helped me with frame selection--I am partial to the wonderful Lindberg frames and EuroOptica has the most extensive selection I have seen outside of Copenhagen!

I am very much looking forward to my new glasses, as well as replacing the lenses in an older pair of Lindbergs, thanks to their two-for-the-price-of-one deal on progressive Varilux lenses.
