Tacos El Idolo — Restaurant in New York

I went to Tacos El Idolo at about 2:30 am last night while waiting for my friend to get off of work. The truck was unassuming and simple, which was a good sign. I ordered a chicken tostada, a taco arabe, and a carne asada taco. I asked for extra green salsa and the staff happily gave it to me. I ate everything two blocks away outside of Wonderville on top of a city trash can. It was pretty good!

I gave it one star because there are no negative or zero star ratings. The food is substandard, subpar and extremely far from authentic. It is parked on Kossuth Place and Broadway directly in front of the local supermarket at 1365 Broadway. I got a taco that contained frozen mixed vegetables. Who does that? my friend got some vegetarian tacos for me and they were really yummy! Super substantial in serving (the avocado slices were huge and they were super generous on the cheese + rice in the tacos!) Super generous on the sauces as well, and everything was really affordable for such a big meal! they are also open till really late so its perfect to head there for supper!
