I absolutely have to give a shoutout to the deli on my corner in NYC. This place has become a true lifesaver for my roommates and me. Not only are the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming, but the fact that they're open 24/7 is an absolute game-changer.

The unfortunate thing is the food is good however the service ABYSMAL!!!! The Puerto Rican or Dominican Girl with the glasses always has an attitude. Today I order my food 20 minutes went to McDonald’s ordered and got my food walked 6 blocks to get there and it’s only one sandwich to not be ready. However I think it WAS ready just sitting on the toaster BUT the Girl with the glasses was too busy giving her friends FREE FOOD and Discounts. Talking about to her coworker how her friend was gonna buy her flight. As I go to pay after she told me to wait so she can help her friends. I say under my breath the sandwich is taking really long. I been ordered it. She proceeds to tell me what you said and a whole EXCHANGE where the other coworkers started ATTACKING ME. I live upstairs from this location but I walk to other stores to avoid but spending my hard earned money at a location like this. She made me wait a customer paying full price and nothing free for her friends who got several sandwiches and paid 8 dollars while I just spent 30. My mind is blown and I will reach out to the owner. this narrowish newish neighborhood deli/grill spot serves up breakfast eats, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, salads, and more 24/7. the hot and cold sandwich menu are the real highlight -- a variety of heroes with quirky names that are stacked with flavor and ingredients. had the "NYU Special" --a chicken cutlet, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and spicy chipotle mayo on a long hero roll. the sandwich is big, tasty, and well made. i was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't just any old deli sandwich, and it only cost $9ish.

the interior is brightly lit and clean. there's a whole host of convenience store items from candy, snacks, and beverages neatly stacked and shelved from front to back. the deli counter is the centerpiece which displays a variety of prepared foods, meats, and a sectioned off area of desserts.
