Came here for some food. Was in the mood for the chicken soup, pholourie and doubles.

I’ve been coming here several times over the past few months.

Pholourie is good. 5/5. Tamarind sauce is also still good.

Doubles are 5/5. The best I’ve ever had.

I had doubles with meat for the first time. 4.5/5. Very tasty and delicious.

Chicken curry roti. 2/5. The meat was not cooked through at all. Same with the meat in the doubles.

I’ve ordered the stew chicken dinner, curry chicken dinner, doubles with meat, chicken soup and the meat is never properly cooked. It’s always pink inside.

Ive just surmised that I would not order anything with meat here ever again. I refuse to consume semi-raw meat and the dishes should be cooked longer so that customers don’t have to deal with this.

I’ll only come for the doubles and pholourie. I’ll rate them around a 2.5 or 3. Stopped by this evening on December 22nd and was greeted by the owner, I believe who is Gee. Very nice man, he asked me how I was and I only stopped by to order Pholourie.

Transaction went smooth, the location is very clean. He also gave me some extra tamarind sauce (free of charge) when I inquired about paying extra for it and told me they absolutely don’t mind doing so!

Oh and the Pholourie were very good!!!! (5/5) for sure.

I definitely will be back here to try the doubles, roti, aloo pie, Solo sorrel drinks and everything else.

I/we are loyal customers to Her's, formerly known as Gloria's. Good Caribbean food and equally good service! We were crushed to learn that the Gloria's franchise closed, according to news reports, due questionable business dealings. Wouldn't be surprised with all the negative manner that many businesses mistreat people trying, just like them, at one point, to make an honest living. Imagine our surprise to discover via a local community email group, announcing the return of Gloria's, but with a new name ' Gee's! I rushed right over, on the afternoon of my birthday and shared my delight and bes5 wishes with Wayne, one of the owners, and Ms. Effie (sp). They were both most sincere and delightful! Grateful for my patience and patronage and positive-spirited energy! I am spreading the word and encouraging everyone to come out and support this staple of business that have been in the community way before we relocated from Manhattan! I’ve been craving a shrimp roti bad bad! Talking to my best friend Tuesday we said if at the same time! Gloria’s was sold out so she told me order from Gee’s. I ordered (1) double, pholourie + tamarind sauce, and a shrimp roti! It came fairly quickly and I was happy because I didn’t eat all day. I ate everything but only had half the roti (leftovers for Wednesday) There is nooooooo reason I’ve been in the bathroom for 10hours!!!!!!! Everytime I sat down to attempt my work I had to run to the bathroom, thank God I worked from home today! I’ve been drinking ginger ale and it eased the pain but I’m still going! Now telling my best friend, she tells me she ordered from there TONIGHT, and is experiencing the same thing, but BOTH ENDS !!!!!! So is it the curry? Is it lack of cleanliness which caused food poisoning? WHAT IS IT????? This is what I get for not sticking to Gloria’s! I’ve been sick all evening and it’s now 3am! I wouldn’t wish this on anyone!
