Great Burrito — Restaurant in New York

Whoever thinks it's good idea to add pizza to their menu is such an idiot. All they need is their taco to make it. Best taco i was introduced to in Manhattan in value, quality and deliciousness.

Order of two tacos can fill you up but i suggest three to be happy. This place is super tiny but manages to sit around 8 to 10 people. Menu is huge with Mexican food to pizza. I won't suggest pizza thou cuz they look like those $1 pizza a block away.

The taco however is what you would die for there. We were here around 8:30pm on a weekday and managed to get a seat. Taco served on a real plate like a date night. Cheap date night. Their tacos are filled with about a quarter pound beef or some meat with avocado and please ask for their sauce.

I have been coming here since 2005 (usually exhausted, often painfully so, from working hard.) To explain my ratings: This is a counter-service, hole-in-the-wall, working-class establishment. Nothing is beautiful or particularly comfortable here, except the food, which is magical. So you stumble in, try to find an empty table, or a chair, if it's really busy, and look up at the placard menu to find some solace. (It has photos of the actual dishes, w/prices.) The owner and his wife often work the counter and will take your order. Drinks are in a couple coolers in the back, along with desserts. Slightly obscured by the register is a tiny blackboard, with the daily specials - usually in Spanish. The clientele leans heavily in the Mexican direction - a sure sign of good, authentic...

It’s a hole in the wall like place, not the prettiest interior to dine in, got few chairs and tables, small space, but their tacos are so incredibly good. Friendly lady and the chef serving everyone. I ordered the beef and chicken tacos. Got flat price for paying cash. Both beef and chickens were cooked in the grill right in front of me, as well as tacos were prepared and packed. There was green chili sauce on each of them.

Each taco had two wraps. Huge in size, full of meat. I was three but was already full eating just two. Also got the flan, that had beautiful texture, fluffy and fresh. It wasn’t too sweet. Was a delicious treat...
