My roommate and I went here on a whim one night when we decided to check out our new neighborhood and see what restaurants were nearby. The owner of the place apparently loves having the music at the absolute highest level the speakers will go - he literally will turn them up any time you ask your server to please turn it down so that your ears don't bleed - it is so loud you actually cannot have a conversation with the person sitting across from you. That's not even the worst of it. My roommate and I (both female) were stared at very uncomfortably for about 30-45 mins from a table with two older men having dinner. The two men decided to order us a drink - a drink that neither of us asked for or imply we wanted as I was giving them weird looks for staring so hard at us. I didn't want to drink that evening and my roommate had also turned down the first offer. The owner of the restaurant got visibly and audibly angry with me for not accepting a drink from the men as he has to "make up for lost money during the pandemic" - that I should accept the drink and just not drink it if I don't want it and that it doesn't matter because I wasn't paying for it and that he really needs the money. I had to tell the owner and the table of creepy older men "no," at least 7 times. It really started to anger me to the point where I also started to become upset that I had to say no so many times. Then, there was another set of girls that were looking to sit down for dinner who were also harassed by men that seemed to know the owner. The two girls requested a table for two and the two men offered to buy them a shot before being seated - both girls said "no thank you," at least three times - this was all happening right next to our table. Well, eventually the girls gave in and said yes to the shot, which the men must have mistaken as an invite to join them for dinner! The two men followed the girls to their table and sat with them! I even overheard the men say they helped the girls get the table and without them knowing people that worked there, they wouldn't have gotten a seat. The entire situation was so uncomfortable and creepy and disgusting honestly. I wrote on my phone in large letters "SOS???" to show the girls and ask if they wanted help/ an out. The girls ended up saying "no thank you, it's okay" and gave a weird face like they would have felt bad/ awkward if they told the two men to leave their table.
It's a shame I experienced this as the food is actually quite delicious and our...

The wait staff was phenomenal. I just have to point that out because it's been a flaw to a lot of restaurants with great food lately...
Our waiter as well as bus boy were extremely attentive and accommodating without being overwhelming. Very polite and knowledgeable as well, and could answer any questions we had on the menu.
The menu was well sized with a good selection of Mediterranean dishes. Everything our party tried was extremely well done, came in a timely manner, and was well seasoned; over seasoned meat dishes are common within this style of cuisine, and I'm happy to say this eatery hasn't made that mistake.
We tried the fish (tilapia) as well as the Seni'ya, both of which were tasty and we'll portioned. The fish was delicate and deeply flavourful, and has inspired me to try such a dish myself. The ground beef/lamb was moist and well seasoned, and came with a great spicy green suace on the side (name?).
Their hummus was very well done, traditional in flavour and well balanced, with an exceptionally smooth texture. It was served with two warm whole wheat pitas lightly grilled on a flat iron. I will come back to try the remaining hummus dishes...
Read moreMe and my teenage daughters went to this restaurant today (a Sunday evening) wanting authentic Mediterranean dinner. It was the best choice we could make!
The Focaccia bread, you could smell the herbs from a mile away. So many flavors in my mouth. Nice Tanginess to it!
The Chicken Shawarma, was little too creamy for our liking but overall had great flavor and was super well seasoned.
The Lamb and Meat focaccia was super flavorful and tender. You can never go wrong with lamb. The bread was soft and warm. I was a little iffy about the pomegranate when I first read it, but it actually went very well with the lamb.
The Baklava was nutty and sweet. A Nice way to finish the evening.
And, the star of the night, the original Hummus was extremely smooth and creamy. Delectable and authentic taste. In my daughter’s words, genuinely the best hummus they have ever had.
Our server was super sweet and the bartender was super friendly and made our night even more enjoyable!
Definitely recommend if you are wanting authentic...
