Krave It Pizza & Sandwich Joint — Restaurant in New York

Sometimes, you just stumbled on a whole vibe. Walking around yesterday with my wife, we decided to go inside due to the unique name, and we're immediately greeted by Carlos (our amazing host!) and quickly picked up two menus. When I say they have options-THEY HAVE OPTIONS!!! IT took us almost 1O minutes to decide what we wanted to try because everything sounded amazing! We finally settled on the Krave It Bomber for me, which came with perfectly cooked thin sliced steak smothered in a spicy sriracha cheese wiz sauce topped grand honey sriracha pineapple on a toasted roll. The sandwich was huge with generous portions, and from the first bite with that juicy steak and delicious sauce dripping everywhere, I knew why Carlos later told me that the Bomber was his favorite thing on the menu!! My wife wanted to tey on e of the brisket sandwiches but sadly they were all sold out so she then settled on the Grandpa Lou pizza which had smashed meatballs, smoked mozzarella, spicy marinara, ricotta, and parsley for the toppings. The crust was thin but not too thin and had an amazing crispness to it. Although it said small on the menu, the pizza was the size of most large pizzas at other places. Once again, they didn't hold back on the toppins as each slice had an equal amount of anything, and the cheese pull was pretty good. We ordered a side of Drunken Tots that were drenched in a root beer based hobey bbq sauce and a gooey mix of cheddar jack cheese. Once again, absolute banger!!! Carlos even let us try a free specialty slice while we waited, and we picked the Sweet Devil (fried chicken, special ranch, honey sriracha, black sesame and jalapeno). The flavors were so unique and tasty! Definitely have to get a whole pie of that next time.

The inside of Krave It was well organized and not too busy, and a single speaker in one of the corners plays a great mix of music that's not too loud or overbearing. They have a decent selection of soft drinks, but sadly, no fountain, so no refills.

Overall, the food was amazing, and we will definitely be coming back regularly to try everything!!! But the biggest takeaway is that Carlos was super dope and his vibe was great!! We had a great convo, and I will always make sure to pop in when he's working because he made us feel welcome and taken care of!!! Give that man a raise right now!!

To summarize, Krave It is a great place to pop out with friends or even just for couples but be ready to get lost in sooo many amazing and mouth-watering...

I took an Uber to this location since it is closer to Me than the bayside location. That was a big mistake, as soon as my kids and I walked in. There was a swarm of gnats and flies inside the restaurant. This was accompanied by the constant buzzing of the bug zapper set up on the wall that was repeatedly going off. Still, since we traveled all that way, we walked up to the display case to look at the pizza slices. There were gnats and flies crawling on the pizza. Flies literally lay eggs on food when they land on it. Disgusting. I will never return to this location again. I’m very disappointed as I really love Krave its pizza, And this would’ve been my first time trying it. This location and the way that they handle the food is beyond careless. I just feel like if they know they have a bug problem ,which they do because they have a bug zapper set up already, then they should be taking extra precautions to make sure that the food is sealed or in a place where the bugs can’t crawl all over it and do what they wish. Just when I thought I’d seen it all… 😳🍕 Krave It Pizza in Bushwick is doing the absolute most, and I’m 100% here for it!

I tried the Deep-Fried Oreo Pizza—yes, that’s a real thing—and it’s just as wild and delicious as it sounds. They’ve also got mac & cheese pizza, Hot Cheeto crusts, and even donut bun sandwiches. Like… who comes up with this stuff?! 😩🔥

I tried a few other specialty pizzas and the chicken cutlet sandwich which were so good. Everything was packed with flavor, totally over-the-top, and made to satisfy your inner foodie daredevil.

If you’re into bold, creative eats and want to try something different, this spot is a must. Chill vibe, fun menu, and definitely worth the trip. I’ll for sure be stopping by again!
