Little Beet — Restaurant in New York

Wow!!!! I love the workers here.

I order from this Little Beet all the time and their food is amazing and service is great. BUT WOW! I am in midtown and accidentally ordered from this location when I needed to order from the Bryant Park location. Seamless / Grubhub was making me have to call and prove the order was cancelled. He wouldn't give me a refund unless he talked directly to Little Beet, even though I told him I called the restaurant and told them to not make the food. (He also claimed he called the restaurant 3x, but they didn't pick up. That part doesn't make any sense.) I understand Seamless would like a confirmation, but they don't make it easy for the restaurant to cancel the order on their end. It is a strange system and probably built for people to not get their refund, but I told him to stay on hold and that I would call the restaurant and connect them. They of course picked up!

The girl who was answering the phone today (2/10) stood up for me and what was right. The Seamless guy made a comment on how he can't tell if the cancellation isn't really confirmed so I won't get my refund so she told Seamless that it's not right to make me jump through hoops for a simple refund, they need a better system set up for the restaurant to easily communicate cancellations, and that it IS confirmed they didn't make my order. She would not let it go until the guy confirmed he would give me a refund. What a hero!

I’ve been frequenting the Little Beet for years now driven by their consistently high quality, fresh, and perfectly seasoned bowl options and have always loved their options. However this 2025 summer menu? UNREAL! The squash is divine and so flavorful, the shrimp perfectly cooked and tender, and I’m loving the guacamole. The avocado bean dip was ok but this guac is next level! All of this while they kept the fan favorites (string beans, broccoli, chicken, chimichurri sauce to name a few must tries). I can’t wait to try the new miso tofu recipe and miso sauce next time! Highly recommend little beet for a fresh, healthy, and filling...

I am so grateful to all the super nice people who work here. I have a lot of allergies and food restrictions. Whenever I call after placing an order, and speak to someone to make sure my food is prepared carefully, the person who takes the call is ALWAYS so very kind. It means a lot to me, because I've had a lot of bad experiences at other restaurants with people who would rather not deal with my food issues. So thank you to Little Beet at 1291 1st Ave NYC!
