NYC Floral Decorator — Local services in New York

This place is a waste of time. They cannot accommodate same day orders. I tried to get a dozen roses for a coworker’s going away. They didn’t have the arrangement they guaranteed to have online. I asked them to put something together quickly. They refused because the florist had left early! It was noon. I had to buy a dozen long stem roses and a vase separately. While two able bodied employees did nothing, refused to even cut the roses to fit the vase. Today I called for a simple bouquet they had for same day delivery online. Told them I could pick it up to help. I then was told after a 5 minute wait they have a lot of funerals next week and had no white roses. I said that I could drop by and figure something out. Waited for another 5 minutes and was told they were no longer accepting orders for the day. It’s 2pm and they still have the arrangement online for same day delivery. This place is absolute trash. Horrible service...

Do not use NYC Floral Decorators!

I was out of town when my wife got sick, so I had them deliver an expensive arrangement of red roses in a white square vase that I knew my wife would love. The arrangement was beautiful when it arrived.

When the roses died (very quickly btw), I hand-washed the vase and saw that its white paint was peeling off. I called the florist yesterday to see if I could exchange the vase for a new one.

The owner wouldn't let me exchange it since it was 2 weeks since they delivered the flowers. He said that I needed to notify them within 2-3 days of delivery - even though at that time the roses were actually covering up most of the damage.

There are numerous high quality florists in the UES, so please spend your money at florists that actually care about...
