McDonald's — Restaurant in New York

Arriving to this location on empty stomachs as my family and I just took an exhausting trip from Costco, hoping to find some comfort in Mcdonald's well-known french fries and burgers. At approximately 12:01 p.m, we entered the store and placed ourselves at a suitable table for the four of us. At 12:06 p.m I waited in line with my mother to order amongst the crowded, hungry people who were also in line. There were two distinct lines forming from two cash registers. However, there was only ONE cashier working to take the orders. You can almost imagine the horribly slow service at this placement. While the one cashier was taking orders from one line, the other line of people was neglected, which so happened to be the line I was on. I had no one at my cash register to take my order. The woman who was supposed to be at my cash register was off pouring ice into the machines and doing other things. I saw families, parents, children, and the elderly, who came later than me, but were on the opposite line so they had their orders taken and received their orders before I even reached the front of my line. Both lines were slow, but mine was slower. I saw from my peripheral view that other customers were getting angry and impatient as well. I heard one of the older men mumble that "this is the worst Mcdonalds I've ever been to". Refusing to think negatively, I tried to remain calm and composed. However, I couldn't not get angry at the terribly slow performance behind the cash registers. Their movements were way too slow, as if they didn't see a mob of hungry people waiting to be served. I understand that workers in the fast food industry can get exhausted which I dont mind waiting a bit longer for my food. But the looks on their faces and their actions show that they don't give a crap about serving people and do whatever at their own leisurely pace. At approximately 12:30 p.m, my line was definitely not moving and no one was still able to take my order. I started to get really irritated and annoyed that 25 minutes had passed and still no one was able to serve me. I left my line with my mother and I went to the other line that had a cashier. My order was finally taken and my food came. However, my order of the 6pc chicken Mcnugget was missing. At this point, I was not surprised as most fast food chains make mistakes. I tried to call one of the workers to get my missing order, but there were only 2 workers and both of them were occupied. I waited until I had an opportunity to tell one of them. At about 12:38, I finally got my missing Mcnuggets and I was done. I was done waiting for 40 minutes for my food and I was done with this place. I've been to this Mcdonalds so many times during my childhood days and I loved it. But it changed and the service now is horrendous. Mcdonalds is a FAST food chain. It's supposed to be quick food and fast service. But the fact that I had to wait about 40 minutes in line for a damn drink, burgers and fries after coming back from an exhausted trip from Costco is unbelievable. And I'm sure the workers are nice and friendly, but their service and working environment is not suitable to become a suffficient...

I stopped into this McDonald's because I was nearby and I was hungry, and I regret going there.

The girl at the counter that took my order was nice but that's where my positive experience ended. No one instructed me where to wait for my order So I did not hear when a different girl mentioned my order number So softly I could barely hear it. She waited maybe 10 seconds and put my food down behind the counter, I walked over waited for someone to acknowledge me and no one did for a few minutes. The girl that called out my order eventually came back to the counter after taking care of some other things and I mentioned her that she called my order number. Shivan mumbled something and walked away. Another few minutes past and I could see my order on a back counter and no one was giving it to me. finally the girl that took my order originally gave me my drink and went to walk away and I said that's my food over there and finally got it.

The food wasn't much better than the service. The bun was stale and the burger patty felt stiff. Like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. I was too hungry at the time to complain and did not want to have to wait another 10 minutes to get my order. I will not be...

This McDonald's is clean and staff give great service. It does get pretty crowded on weekdays with students going there after school being that there's 2 schools near by. The students can get a little bit rowdy there after school but nothing crazy that'll want you to leave. Just hungry kids that are happy to get out of school and eat. You can order in person, go through the drive thru or go inside and use the kiosk to put your order in, get a receipt with a number that will be called from behind the counter, letting you know that your order is ready. You can also download the App, find the nearest restaurant on the app, browse throughout the menu and select the meal of your choice, select how you would like to receive your order: collect it at the frint counter, pick it up at the drive thru or have it dwlivered to your table through "table service".
