Mitchell's Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

Oh this is definitely one of the "don't judge a book by its cover" place!!! The food was absolutely delicious, I had the small jersey chicken meal and let me tell you it was filling. Flavors just bursting in my mouth, wish I had found this place sooner, service was nice, different from what you're used to when you walk into a typical jamaican restaurant. Will definitely be coming back for more, if you're in the area, looking for some authentic jamaican cuisine, this is the place!!! Look past the door and entrance and just get you some of that...

They were out of jerk chicken and curry chicken, so I got the stew chicken. THANK GOD. Chicken was soooooo good, so soft, so buttery. Rice & beans I swallowed in heaving spoonfuls. The plantains??? Oh my god, soft, some a tad crispy, sweet perfection.

Food was amazing, taste was on point and service was prompt. I was in the neighborhood and needed something to eat and quickly found Mitchell's kitchen, although the entrance looks small, mighty flavors are made inside, finally a jamaican restaurant that lives up to its name! Food was fresh and the server was very friendly. If you're in the area craving some jerk chicken or jamaican treat, definitely go here!!! Will be coming...
