Review for an online order! Got myself some mochi ice cream after seeing their Instagram ads 😅 milk candy and passion fruit flavors are the best!!! Lychee tasted like coconut and skippable imo... they have a $60 minimum per order and shipping is quick! Came in 2 days for me.

long version of the review: Finally got to try all the flavors and now I can finishing writing my review! This is a review is for my online order a week ago. I've been seeing their ads on Instagram and Facebook a lot lately, they secretly know I want to try some mochi ice cream so they've been following me! It's definitely working!

I was a bit hesitant to order at the beginning since they have a minimum spend of $60 per order for delivery. Wasn't sure if I wanted to spend so much on getting mochi ice cream, but I still ended up ordering them since I wanted to try different flavors and they have a box that comes with a mix of all kinds of flavors. Their signature collection is $60 and comes with 12 flavors, 2 pieces each. I got 2 other flavors on the side, Milk Candy and Lychee that I wanted to try which wasn't part of the set.

So out of all the flavors I tried, listing out the ones I liked in order of preference: Milk Candy, Passion Fruit, Strawberry, Black Sesame/Salted Caramel/Chocolate/Matcha are a tie.

Lychee was a bit disappointing and tasted more like coconut mixed in, it's honestly skippable for me. For the price and the minimums, it does feel a bit expensive (the mochi size is pretty small), but this is great for sharing and I guess good for a gift if you're going to a friend's party. Some of them are pretty sweet so I wouldn't be able to eat a whole piece by myself (except for milk candy and passion fruit, those are so good).

Shipping does come pretty quickly! I got the delivery in 2 days after placing my order! It came in a huge box with dry ice to keep it cold. I shared mine with my family and it's fun trying all the flavors, definitely some fancy dessert to treat yourself during this quarantine time!

I recommend these flavors: Milk candy - rabbit bunny milk candy, it looks pretty too in blue! Passion fruit - one of my favorite fruits :) may be a bit tart for some people but I thought it was just right and not too sweet like some other flavors, this one is purple on the outside! Strawberry - pretty good and refreshing Salted caramel - tasted more like vanilla ice cream, I think it's better than vanilla chip for me Black Sesame - not too heavy, smooth creamy taste Chocolate - I'm not a huge fan of chocolate usually, but this was good! not too sweet. Worst service. I’m work in the customer service area and as I know how service is important to a business that why I have decided to leave my comment. I have always wanted to visited this place. We drove 50 minutes to arrived but the person working the PM shift 4/26/23 is the worse. She had the door close by 8:40PM when at the door said 10pm. However, another couple arrived and knocked at the door, the NON FRIENDLY PERSON luckily opened the door with this frase “whoever was knocking make sure not to do it again (owners please run the camera because I’m letting I just wanted to leave the place and went to anoththis know now but you don’t know how many customers you have lost because of this bad treatment to the customers who pay your bills) my husband was about to walk out the door without buy anything just by seeing who mean the person was. I just calm him down and finayafter asking for more tha 16 moch as she was with her bad mood with all 4 customers at the time she just gave me just 8 of them which is a lost for the business. I preferred to just leave it like that and went to a restaurant next door to eat food with it as dessert. 🤷‍♀️ owners should be more focus on who is representing them in...

Received the mochidoki signature collection set and it is for sure one of the best gifts I've ever gotten. There are twelve flavors with two pieces per flavor. It came packaged in an insulated cooler loaded with dry ice to guarantee the mochi ice creams stayed fresh, frozen and intact. All the mochis were melt-in-your-mouth soft and all the fillings were so rich, creamy and fragrant.

I absolutely loved the passion fruit, ube, black sesame, matcha, strawberry, espresso, chocolate and vanilla chip. Some might find the passion fruits' tartness to be too sour but I found it refreshing. Coconut and salted caramel were wonderful too. Missing the mark were lychee and red bean. Lychee hardly had any lychee flavor and would have tasted better if it weren't overpowered by its coconut base. Red bean had too subtle a flavor.
