ORE BAR — Restaurant in New York

Experience here really depends on what bartender is working. Have had two issues with a particular bartender, and won't be going back.

First time they flat out ignored me, I was standing at the bar waiting to order and they were just chatting with a friend the whole time and even glanced over in my direction a few times. I stood there like an idiot for like 10 mins then just left. There was noone else waiting.

Second time I had to go out of my way to engage them and they just acted like they were over the whole interaction, made it clear they weren't pleased to be dealing with me.

All of the other bartenders are great, have always had a good time if anyone else is working, but I'm tired of rolling the dice with this place, so I'm not going back.

(just a note that both of these interactions were in September of 2023, so I'm not even sure if the same bartender is there at this point)

It could have passed for a prank. My friends and I would peruse the whiskey list and finally decide which to order. I'd memorize them and go up to the bartender to order. He'd wander off and come back a few minutes later to say they didn't have any of them.

I'd go back to my friends, we'd find new whiskeys, they wouldn't be in stock. Repeat until your friends say, "Ohmigod, Roman, you have GOT to be lying to us!"

And then they tried to order and ran into the exact same thing.

Yes, we finally found some whiskey they had in stock. And then they overcharged us. Three strikes means out: these guys whiffed eight or nine times. Plenty of better...

Bartender with the blue hair and tattoos is terrible. Poor customer service skills as soon as we walked through the door. She had an attitude… Then has the nerve to give me a cocktail in a plastic cup when everyone else has it in a glass. On top of that, the drink taste terrible. She poured the drink from the plastic cup to a glass and gave it back. I had to tell her to make the drink better but all she did was add another shot of tequila. The drink tasted worst after that bc it was all alcohol. She needs lessons on how to do what shes being paid to do because obviously shes not good at it. Never coming back here again! Thanks for...
