I have been going to this salon regualarly for 2+ years and have never had a worse experience. I usually go to Mandy who is great but this time I had an older women (i didn’t get her name) who was awful. I asked for dip powder as I’ve gotten for the past 2 years. She very rudely tried to convince me to do poly gel. When i declined, she was super rough and aggressive and kept hurting me multiple times and was rushing through every process. At one point after she burned my nails with the drill for the 10th time she claimed it was because i chose to do dip powder instead of the poly gel that she suggested. She was pulling, swatting, being so rough with my hands and nails and being so rude and unprofessional. She was speeding so much that when we went to do my cuticles she cut me on the first 2 nails. (pictures below) When i asked her to slow down and be careful she responded “do you want me to not cut them?” as if by doing a bad job she could be done with me. She was rough, rude, and physically hurt me. Even though i’ve gone here for years I will never come back....

I used to love this place. They always did a good job. But I went for a pedicure and the lady cut both of my toes so bad that they both bled and hurt for DAYS after. The pedicure was extremely painful and I’ve never experienced that before. The paint was horrible too. They redid it on the spot but my feet still hurt. She went to another customer after me and that customer was complaining about how rough she was being.

I came back the next time to get a manicure and she did a great job but there was a screaming fight with employees to the point there was a physical fight. There was yelling the whole time I was getting a manicure. I don’t know the context of what was going on but it made me feel unsafe it was supposed to be a relaxing experience that quickly turned stressful. Still paid full price with tip both times but honestly I feel like they didn’t care about either of my negative experiences.

I liked this place for a long time and I’m sad to find another place but I’ve given them...

If there was no stars, i would give it: i walked in with a full set of gel nails that cost me over $100. I needed a fill with french. I am getting married and wanted them to look at my nails before to make sure they can do it.

They said yes!

Without asking they started taking off all my nails telling me i need a new full set. I did not. Nor did i even have breakage.

She told me it would cost $75 with all replacement fix instead of $80 for full set.

I obviously was so upset and at this point said give me a gel amnicure ao i can leave.

Not only did she charge me for a gel manicure that looks like a 3 yr old little girl did. But she then charged me for taking off my nails!

I would recommend spending more money to travel to manhattan before ever even thinking...
