Los Primos — Restaurant in New York

Keep your money in your pockets. This place Los Primos,will try and cheat you out of your money. On 5/11/22 around 7:00 p.m. i decided to go into restuarant because i wanted some Chicken chunks with bone. I was charge $9.95. The next day i goes back to get another order of the Chicken chunks and some of Pork shoulder . She said pork shoulder was $6.00 i said cool. After the lady at register ring up my order she told me $21.00. So i ask to see a receipt, something very fishy, from the nigjt before the price on chicken chunks had jump to $13.76 thank God i didn't get any rice and beans. So i started complaining. I told the lady at register i didn't want the chicken chunks . She trying show me the receipt, by this time am upset. I didn't want to see no receipt and keep telling her to forget it no problem. Some young lady was sitting in back eating with a young man. She came over and said it's not her problem the manager went up on prices i told her to mind her business! Because i was already dealing with two lady's at register she said this is my business! i guess a family member of hers owns the restaurant she said.well don't come in here no more i said, you haven't said anything, because i won't come here anymore i felt they were trying to rob me. Were all suffering from this Pandemic. So as i was paying for Pork i gave the lady at register $20.00 my order $6.00 she only gives me back $9.00 simply math people. Still trying to take my money. This place of business have no customer service skills whatsoever, for young lady to tell me not to come back in restuarant, she's not boss maybe she wants to be, wasn't being irate, i wasn't yell, cussing, screaming any of that. I won't be spending my money in this restuarant ever and neither will my friends. Food...

I don't even know why I keep giving this place a chance. They have horrible food. The only reason I came here today was because the next door restaurant was closed. Food always tastes reheated.... the chicken cutlet was over cooked and tasted old. Seemed like the cutlet was just reheated. It was so dry. Told them politely, and they took it back and it looked like they sprinkled water over the cutlet then returned the same one back to us. They didn't even have the decency to cook another one. Ugh. Horrible. The fried plantains (tostones) where under done. The rice with Peas dry, dry, ! Tasted like old rice, not fresh! The only reason they received one star from me is because they were very polite. That's all, otherwise no star at all. Big disappointment .... I definitely don't recommend...

The decor is great but everything else about this place is the worst. Absurdly large menu yet they were out of multiple items I tried to order. Ended up ordering a fried pork chop because the rest of my party had already ordered. It was really thin and really, really dry. It cut like wood. The rice was bland. I love food, I eat anything but I left 80% of my meal. When we signaled to the waitress we were done she came by about ten minutes later. It took another ten or so for her to return for our card. There were only a couple other tables, I don't know what she was doing. Then it took another ten minutes for her to bring our card back. They'd charged us 4% for using a card.
