I ordered my birthday cake, and I was so excited! However, when I went to pick it up, the people who were working were not friendly. I should have checked the cake before walking home. I paid extra for floral decorations on the cake. When I got home, I opened the cake box to find a couple pieces of what looked like shrub on top of a cake. It looked absolutely nothing like what was advertised online. I called and asked about the flowers (with the caveat that I understood the decorations would be seasonal and not everything was always available) but the woman on the phone was incredibly rude and told me that the cost included the labor to put the flowers on the cake (the floral decorations advertised looked amazing and seem to include labor costs). I asked if I could have the floral part refunded since there were no flowers on my cake and she said no. She was incredibly unfriendly and completely unhelpful, other than telling me I should have specified in the note section if I wanted something specific. I did not want anything specific, I just wanted some petals and bulbs. Additionally, I thought specifying that I wanted flowers on my floral decoration would have been redundant or rude but apparently you can never be too careful. They emailed me a follow up two hours later to refund the floral decoration. However, now I have such a horrible taste in my mouth from the experience that I don't want to serve the cake at my party.
Anyway. Don't order your birthday cake from here unless you want to deal with disappointment and...
Read morethere are many reasons to go to Partybus Bakeshop like the assortment of freshly baked sweet treats or the weekly baking classes. however mine is a simple oneâthe bread & butter which is a half of a baguette with the right amount of salted butter spread on itâŠthe freshness of the baguette combined with the savory fattiness of the butter makes for one satisfying bite after another. so good! combine that with the bakeryâs hot brewed coffee and you have lifeâs simple pleasures of flavorful coffee that doesnât overpower the baked eats while at the same time giving you that much needed caffeine kick. there are so many good choices for savory or sweet hunger pangs that you canât go wrong. discovered the gluten-free brownie on another visitâŠwhich was/is a great option for those in need of a sweeter bite. the bakery, itself, is a small space with some seating which is neatly kept. the service is friendly.    Read moreFYI I got the last pistachio rose croissant at 11:10 am on a Sat. This was the third time, I missed twice. Iâll give the croissant 5, a must-try, but somethings else made me give 3.
đ„Yes, I can tell why ppl love it. It was soooo rich, with intense filling inside. The croissant was super buttery, the layers looked insanely beautiful. Crunchy outside and moist inside. I recommend this if u visit.
However, the chocolate cookie and multigrain bread I got was not that outstanding. The double chocolate cookie was too soft and had a slight sticky, chewy texture. The multigrain was delicious, full of flavors, but the seeds outside were burned. Black and bitter. I believe there is a space to improve!
In addition, I actually had a bad impression first time visiting. The staff never ever looked at me throughout the whole time. And I was the only costumer. I asked question about items, the person didnât seem wanna talk. It ended up I left without...
